It's a great game for a lowkey game to lose yourself in. It's a good timepass.

The gameplay is precise and satisfying.
It can be played quick or slow and everything in-between. The skill trees are great, the story's sweet, it's a game to savour and devour.

Also cowboys are cool.

I really wish they made more of this game; sequels or DLC. It's truly one of the pinnacles of a shooter.

Lowkey feels like a DMT reference?

But surprisingly really good.
Expect a mediocre time, but get genuinely surprised at how fun the gameplay loop of commanding and general FPS-ing is.
It's light on the mind and just a good time-pass, low expectation time of game. I was having a lot of fun by the end and the game actually makes me feel pretty good progressing by the mid-to-end point.

I'm updating my review since they fixed the servers

I still think the game is a good 75% of what they supposed released with.
There should have been more weapons and a better skill system, with the quality of life options they had before.
Like seriously, 10 plus years of quality of life changes and the game still released with bad design choices (UI, options, etc.)

The gameplay loop is fun and the branding is Payday, so I would give it a 6/10. I really am mixed more-so than anything.

I'm gonna review this game ahead of time so I don't forget.

It's a great try at adrenaline-filled, quick-thinking, fast-paced fun. With parkour and bullet time, it really becomes a dream game. I'm just looking forward to the next jump in this gameplay style with whatever the next game would look like.

The only problems I have with the game is visual clarity and the tightness of controls.
My problem is visual clarity is really that there isn't really a comparison of what all the graphic settings change exactly.
I feel really floaty or sluggish sometimes while changing direction, something about the "tightness" needs to be tweaked.

It's sorta tough to get into and see my own progress level-by-level easily.

I've been trying to figure out this game, and the franchise, since I've heard of it. Is it good? Is it bad? Is it overrated? Underrated? What the f#ck is it?

Bioshock Infinite and it's 2 DLCs feel so convoluted; and from that it becomes "fake deep".

It is so close to hitting a mark and saying something meaningful, but it just doesn't. I think that's where the convolution comes in.

Anyways, Bioshock Infinite is riffling and convoluted. On a similar note, I've heard of the story summary for the original Bioshock and I'm worried it's going to be more of the same- where nothing is said and ideas are riffled through and it becomes "fake deep".

At least Clash in The Clouds is pretty fun. Though I wish it had this type of gameplay in the base game because in the base game the combat feels inconsequential with the weapon choices: Why use this ammo type or gun for this situation or another?
By most encounters I had most of my resources still remaining to me. Half-Life 2 and the original Ratchet and Clank did their weapons better, yet they were released ages ago.

Same with vigors. Why use this vigor over that one? Why not use this weapon + vigor strategy over another? I think I literally didn't do one vigor combo in the base game other than (maybe!!!) Undertow + something else. The only time I did a Vigor Combo was to get cash in Clash of the Clouds.

I'm tired of writing/formatting this review. Figuring out what I want to say and how to block those ideas is becoming as convoluted as the game's form. Bioshock Infinite is a very funky game that doesn't really make sense.

I haven't reviewed this game yet? It's a classic for me. I always have had it installed since like 2014 because it's the ultimate boredom game if there's no internet. I wish the story was longer and there were more levels in the main story, but aite.

I still wish for a Gunpoint 2, even if it was just a slight upgrade.
