I have over 1000 hours in this game, and have been playing on and off since release. The game is one of the most grind heavy F2P games in existence, and the developers constantly make it worse with every passing year. Once you hit about rank 5, little over halfway up the tech tree, the game just becomes a wall with progression, with having to grind modules as a stock vehicle against players better equipped. At the end of it all, it isn't even worth it, since teams in top tier are almost all premium planes who paid 60/70 dollars and made of players with so little time in the game and zero knowledge or ability.

On top of all that, Air battles have basically been team deathmatch for the last decade, because there can be no other objectives in a team based game other than destroy enemies. Not only is the game a drag and a grind, it can't even be an enjoyable one.

I really want to like the game, it has such a great backbone and so much potential, but it is so poorly managed and basically being milked for the last 7 or 8 years with the only content being vehicles and the occasional map. The public relations team is so tone deaf and player suggestions have been ignored for as long as the game has existed, and it finally comes back to bite them, so they make yet another tone deaf post explaining how f2p games work like we are children and then threatening to close the game because a well-deserved poor review is too much for them to handle
