I tried to like this game. I really did. But the mechanics are just frustrating.

Spend half an hour or more fighting the food and water gauges, backtracking to base constantly, so you can finally make it to the objective without dying. Then you have to defend from dozens of zombies in multiple waves using only a machete, 30 arrows and 6 fences. And you can't craft or repair anything in the field.
The fighting just feels clunky, which is worse when a few hits can be enough to kill you. The planning and stealth you'd expect from a Metal Gear game won't help you much. I could go on...
