I've played for about 60 hours over the course of 1.5 weeks, and I would rate this game an 8/10

There are some glaring bugs and issues that are caused by what I assume was the shortened development time.

There are bits and pieces missing from the setting that breaks your immersion, When you leave Tahlmberg, and come back. They don't remark that when they last saw you, you were half dead. They act like you were there all along and you never left. Which I can probably chalk up to development time issues.

The combat is also a bit painful, you are punished for being aggressive (you are able to learn combos for your weapon of choice, however, the combos are completely useless because you can never get one off. The AI is usually guaranteed to reposte you), and you are rewarded for being reactive. There are mods to fix this, and the devs plan to address these issues in KCD2

There are also a lot of QoL stuff I would like to see addressed. The forced animation for picking up flowers, unable to go through bushes, and a favorite/pin ability in your inventory. There should also be a way to identify which quests are time-sensitive. Once again there are mods that fix this, but it shouldn't be up to the player to do the fixes themselves.

Overall, I really like the game. I'm immersed into the world. There is something for everyone, if you want to be a silent assassin wiping out a town in the middle of the night you can. Or if you desire to be an upstanding Christian who gives alms to the beggars and turns their nose up at thievery. You can.

There are also era appropriate weapons. Bows, Maces, Axes, Swords, Swords and Boards, and Polearms (although Polearms have stipulations to them, which don't let you use them for 99% of the time.) Crossbows however, are absent due to them being cut.

I definitely recommend this game I family shared it off of a friend, and I liked it so much I paid the 9 dollars for the Royal Edition which comes with all DLCs.

I apologize for this review being so rushed and disorganized, later on/when I finish I'll plan to rewrite this review. Hopefully...

The comments about how you feel like you are placed into the universe, and you are in an actual episode are very truthful. You feel like you are actively playing in the episode, and you get to meet all the characters, and interact with most of them. It's really fun, there are RPG elements (classes, skills, weapons, armor, spells) that make the game a lot more fun, it takes a bit to learn it sure. But once you embrace it, it's quite fun. I 100% the game, and I think you will need to take at least two play-throughs to be able to 100% the game. The first time to enjoy, and the second time to 100% it, because of the annoying fact that there are missables once you leave a certain area. Otherwise this game is a 9/10

It's a nice change of pace from competitive movement PvP shooters. If you liked Deep Rock Galactic you will like this game. It's a 6/10 in my opinion. There isn't much besides grinding for upgrades, you do hit a wall pretty fast. The fun is unlocking better gear, and being able to take on more. From then, after all upgrades are unlocked, the fun for me is derived from being able to 100% the game, as well as play missions faster and better with no deaths.

Sony tried forcing people to register for PSN, these countries do not have PSN, and therefore cannot play a game they paid.

This game is probably best to play by yourself for the first time. It's very jarring having one of your friends start talking to an important NPC, and you miss everything. It's worse because, it's an opt in to the dialogue instead of automatically join. And sometimes you have a friend that played the game already and decides to just speed run through the dialogue, without you getting the chance to even opt in.

The combat is a bit slow and very confusing to me.

Overall it's a 3/10

I want to preface that I have not played Overwatch 1, and I don’t know what it was like. However, I have 200 hours on Overwatch 2 on Battle.net launcher, which obviously doesn’t port to Steam. Overwatch 2, at the time of writing has a mostly negative review and for good reason.

Overwatch 1 would best be classified as a 6v6 PvP, hero based competitive FPS.

Like most games of their time, there were loot boxes, which you could get free per level or you could pay money for a chance for a cosmetic which you wanted. Now, the game had eventually been out for so long, that the loot boxes were filled with a bunch of cosmetics from the span of the game’s life. Therefore, the loot pool had been so expanded, that it was impossible to get what you wanted from the loot box. Players stopped buying loot boxes, which is a big no-no for a company such as Blizzard.

Their solution was to delete OW1 and instead replace it with OW2. Of course, they’re not going to outright say that they are doing it for money reasons, so they had to come up with a plan.

They decided on releasing OW2 and making OW F2P. With the release of OW2, they were going to add a single-player campaign, COOP PvE missions (OW2 MVM memes), skill trees, and hero leveling. So they go and shut down OW1 and release OW2.

OW2 is released, and it’s 95% the exact same game as OW1. The only changes that they made were that they changed it from 6v6 to 5v5, as well as adding a Battle Pass. No single player mode, no COOP mode, nothing that was promised. Players were outraged, and demanded an explanation which the devs said they were going to release it Soon™ and just fine tuning it. Hang onto that, we will return to this later.

There are some things about the Battle Pass I wanted to discuss. The first is that, the Battle Pass DOES NOT pay for itself after you buy it. Some people may be used to the system in Fortnite, where after completing all the missions on the Battle Pass, you would be able to buy another Battle Pass. This is not the case in OW2! You will NOT be able to buy another Battle Pass. Another thing, is that they lock the new heroes behind the Battle Pass, encouraging you to buy the Battle Pass, or maybe buy some tier skips while you're at it to unlock the hero a little faster. Obviously to further encourage people buy the Battle Pass, Blizzard purposefully makes the new heroes OP, so that you will gain a slight gameplay advantage by buying tier skips and unlocking the new hero.

Now remember what I said about the PvE stuff? So after roughly a season or three with this arrangement. Blizzard announced that they would be cancelling the free COOP PvE that was going to be bundled with the release of OW2. Which means that this entire release of OW2, was just for them to implement a Battle Pass and take away a game that people had paid money for.

For what it is worth, they later announced some COOP missions, but you have to pay 40 USD, to play and it is only for three missions. Sounds like the scam of the century to me.

So should you get it? Eh, I had fun with it. There's so many heroes that I’m sure you will find someone that you would enjoy playing. For the low low price of free, I’m sure you could do a lot worse. Still not going to recommend this game though.

P.S. I also think it’s funny that people shell out so much money for skins, when it’s an FPS game, where 99% of the time you do not see yourself unless you die or you taunt, but I play TF2 so I can’t complain.

In Dark Souls 2, you play as the Bearer of the Curse. In the intro cutscene you are drawn to the world of Drangleic, and fall into a hole. Some old ladies hassle you, but give you a gift and then off you go on your journey.

This was my introduction to Dark Souls 2, and I found that the game was really enjoyable. I struggled to play it by myself when I first started and this is definitely part of the experience, but I quit the game until a friend got me back into it and we struggled together.

If you're coming from Dark Souls Remastered or PTD Edition, you will find the combat of DS2 similar to that of DS1. I much prefer this slower style of combat with less visual effects blocking your view. You can't get off a quick sip of Estus during a boss fight, you must make a decision to either fight or drink. The game also attempts to capitalize on your greed, by place a lot of enemies that you must slowly work your way through. The common person would want to run through everything, either in frustration, fear of losing souls, or their own hubris in thinking that they are good enough to dodge and roll their way through everything. The punishing lack of I-Frames both in rolling and during Fog Walls, will make the player regret their decisions.

If you're coming from Dark Souls 3 or Elden Ring, you will find the combat of DS2 to be far too slow. Estus takes what feels like 10 seconds to drink from. Your rolling I-Frames are tied to a levelable stat rather than to your weight. The combat also just feels off, and the character is too close to your face.

In SOFTS, the game is a remaster of the original DS2. With new enemy placements and all the DLCs integrated into the game.
It does provide in a sense another form of NG, for those that have played Dark Souls 2. The game being newer will also have a higher player base, leading to more PvP and jolly cooperation.

A reoccurring theme of the Souls games is that when you give up or otherwise have no purpose in life. You will become hollow.
This is a reflection you, the player. If you give up, you will become hollow and you will be one of the mindless hollows that roams the lands. Eventually you will be put down by another traveler and your story and memories will fade.

In short, don't give up skeleton!

A lot of people call it "Paid Phantom Forces" but I personally found the game to be really enjoyable. I played BattleField 3, and that was the most recent BattleField game I have played. A lot of developers don't understand that the game does not need new features and crazy light shafts that make it difficult to run for lower end PCs. It just needs to be an enjoyable experience. The affordable price tag of 14.99 USD and the Roblox/Unturned Low Poly art style of the characters that the game employs allow for gamers with less money and lower end PCs to play. It's refreshing to see this over EA and Activision, constantly releasing a new cash grab every two years, and refusing to put the previous generations of games on sale in order to drive up sales in the new game.

Pros:
-Realistic gun system with rewarding recoil
-Realistic zeroing of long range guns for fun long range sniper battles
-Massive 127 vs 127 PvP game modes for endless gunfights
-Literally block textures so any PC can run it
-Despite being block textures the smokes still function as smoke and obscures vision with no blockiness
-If you liked how BattleField multiplayer plays then you will most likely enjoy this game
-Proximity VOIP is a really good addition
-You can tell that the developers picked mechanics from different games that they enjoyed to implement

Cons/My Personal Nitpicks:
-It does feel like a massive grind to unlock everything
-Due to its early access it doesn't have a good tutorial system or intuitive way of teaching you
-There is no campaign only online
-I really liked BattleField 3's way of dropping a Med Kit or Ammo Box on the group and nearby soldiers will replenish. The current system gets kinda sloggy with having to constantly pull out the Med Kit to heal.
-I do like that the revive system is not instant, so that you don't just sit there prone with a defib
-Currently there are no jet battles, dogfighting was so fun to do in BattleField 3

Apex Legends is a fast-paced Battle Royale game where you are pitted against up to 58 other people to compete to be the Apex Legend. The game only features Duos and Trios, and no Solos. Performance-wise it runs relatively smooth, it is playable on older hardware, however, expect dips due to the particle-effect vomit that occurs during every fight.

Currently, it is in a near unplayable state, because of server issues that will prevent you from joining the match, and if you are playing Ranked, then you will lose RP for it. If you do manage to get into the match, expect frame-rate drops and rubber banding, because the server will have issues with player prediction/detection and in turn that will translate to lower performance for your game. Players often encounter error codes such as Code: Net, or in my problems Code: Snake.

The game is a decent game, it is not P2W, however, the Legends grind can be comparative to League Of Legends.

At the current state, if you are able to play it, then play it, if you can't don't bother.

~ DIFFICULTY~
🔲 Easy
☑️ Normal
🔲 Hard
I found this to be very fun, if I were to ever die it would be to my fault.

~ GRAPHICS ~
🔲 Bad
🔲 Meh
☑️ Good
🔲 Beautiful
🔲 Masterpiece
While not the best it is still certainly playable, if you prefer a more realistic look to your games compared to the blue in Bloodbourne/Dark Souls 3

~ MUSIC ~
🔲 Bad
☑️ Good
🔲 Makes you cry
It's pretty good, it's essentially epic battle music

~ STORY ~
🔲 This game has no story
🔲 It's there for the people who want it
☑️ Well written
🔲 An Epic
Rather hard to follow, SPOILERS: Go to break curse end up killing the king's wife

~ PRICE ~
🔲 Free
🔲 Underpriced
🔲 Perfect Price
☑️ Could be cheaper
🔲 Overpriced
🔲 Complete waste of money
I believe I paid for this in a bundle that included DS PTD and DS2 Deluxe, total was around $10.99 USD, due to it's age and difficulty to find people it could be cheaper

~ REQUIREMENTS ~
🔲 You can run it on a microwave
☑️ Average
🔲 High end
🔲 NASA computer
Due to the age of this game most modern day computers should be able to run this. (I have an RX470 and i5-6500, which I run GeDoSaToT to make the game prettier)

~ LENGTH ~
🔲 Very Short (0 - 3 hours)
🔲 Short (3 - 15 hours)
☑️ Average (15-50 hours)
🔲 Long (50-90 hours) (debatable)
🔲 Extremely long (90-110 hours)
☑️ No ending
My first playthrough I completed in 47/50 hours and that was when I was playing through with my friend, essentially doubling the time it took to beat. Due to the existence of NG, this game technically has no ending

~ FUN ~
🔲 I'd rather watch paint dry
☑️ Hard to enjoy
🔲 Repetitive
☑️ Actually pretty amusing
🔲 Ride of your life
It's a mixed bag as to whether people would enjoy it or not

~ REPLAYABILITY~
🔲 It's a one-time experience
🔲 Only for achievements
🔲 If you wait a few months/years
☑️ Definitely
🔲 Infinitely replayable
There are only two endings to this game, the game also has multiple classes to pick from which a player could consider to be a different "ending"

~ WORTH BUYING ~
🔲 No
☑️ Wait for sale
🔲 Yes
I'd recommend it if it went on sale, due to the oldness of this and the fact it is hard to find people to help in CoOp and PvP
