Good value, it was fun too

Making myself put more time into this game...

Restricted saving, slow startup and the delay in picking plants can be fixed with mods.

No point to explore the mostly empty map, but careful use of an online interactive map helps to locate sparse camps and points of interest.

Initial quest dialog speech skill checks all fail since we can't see the quest difficulty and level up organically. Finding guides online to get charisma gear or grind speech improved the experience.

Generally I guess the quests allow for creative solutions, but I did bug an early quest by stealth killing each of the three Cuman as they walked away.

Great game, but...

after 35 hours I find that my starting character has capped skills and I'll need to switch to a new captured tribesmen and possibly spend hours capturing and training hundreds of them to find one will good skills. If I could search and filter all tribesmen on the entire map and hunt down just the one I want, that would be less of a grind.

following the suggested guidance quests was nice but now that I'm only being directed to fight boss after boss I feel that its missing a lot of things in between that are necessary to do between each one.
