This game has a very expensive Tax in the form of Pheons (One of the dozens of currencies). You need Pheon to buy every single item in the Auction House. The only way to get Pheon is to buy it from people that spend money on the game, and its not cheap. For every transaction that occurs on the AH, someone has to have spend money in the game. A single relic accessory is more than $5 worth of Pheons. You need 5 for each character.

I'm not gonna even talk about Ability Stones, a pure RNG item that costs Pheon and is mandatory for an endgame build, with the potential of costing hundreds of dollars worth of Pheons to get what you need.

All of this for a single character. In this game, you NEED alts, its not an option. The only way of making consistent gold is to do the weekly raids, which you can do only 3 times max per character, if your character is high level enough.

This creates an infinity loop that only benefits the greedy devs/publisher:

Need gold to play > Need alts to farm gold > Need to build alt to be able to do raids > Dont have pheon to build alt > Need gold to buy pheon. Repeat. Unless you buy Pheons with money.

The only fun part of this game was the early and mid game back when it launched when everyone was progressing through the game together, not knowing what waited everyone down the road. This part of the game is now dead. And the endgame only exists to bleed you dry.

And all of this is only the worst of the worst. Theres plenty more. Dont waste you time like I did.
