To start off, I have by my own estimation about 5000 hours? On blockland including before they were greenlighted for steam.
I am already getting that EXACT same feel as blockland. I sometimes find myself using blockland keybinds by mistake haha.
I've started building the other day, it's more intuitive and is easier than it was in blockland. Brick resizing is such a massive timesaver, for example.
My one gripe is the game needs a PROPER tutorial on how wiring (or eventing if you're a blockland veteran) works. It's very different from blockland, but when you get the hang of it will save time in some areas as opposed to how blockland did things.
It's in early access, I of course would expect things to not be totally polished, but overall it feels like the game is becoming a reality rather than a rumor. I am excited to see where this game will go in the future.

And lastly:
So many people are griping about the price tag but somehow have forgotten that inflation exists. This game is currently cheaper than blockland was when accounting for inflation.
20$ in 2010 is 32.58$ in 2025.
And this game has features and content blockland never had ALREADY, which had to be added to blockland through the modding community. The devs were previously blocklanders, so they know exactly what blockland lacked and how to improve upon its concept.

I bought this game without hesitation once released on early access and was not disappointed.

It feels like a mobile game turned "triple-A". It will freeze once or twice a day in the middle of race or in freeroam. And your opponents can just drive right past you. And you lose. nothing you can do about it except restart the game, which, mind you, takes absolutely forever because of the absurdly long intro crap. Forza Horizon 3 loads faster, and ISN'T CAPPED TO 60 FPS. This is a game released in 2018 and keeps you stuck at 60. The content feels empty as well.

Still no updates after coming up on 2 years; but it seems finishd at this point.

Fun, simple zombie survival game.
