If you are a mahjong nerd and like the gameplay of Balatro then this is definitely something to check out.

It may not have the complexity and quirkiness as something like Dwarf Fortress, but you still get great mileage out of the game. The wide range of QoL and content mods on the workshop only add to the experience, and often the developer works around the modding community when they update the game (unlike many others that break almost all mods every new version release).

The simplistic graphics may take getting used to at first, though they've grown on me over the plentiful hours I've put into the game.

Be prepared to get your jimmies rustled by the storyteller system quite often though, as it enjoys trying to balance out the colony whenever it can. If you're doing bad it'll cut you slack, but when you're doing really well you're sure to receive a pack of 30 man-eating elephants at your doorstep.

It is called 100% Orange Rage for a good reason. Also Marie Poppo can go die in a fire.
