Overall, I think the game is pretty good and I'm still interested in playing the main game - that being said, the docks compound is designed in such a way that almost requires you to kill everyone around you just so you can search for a key item in peace. This includes a section or two that basically force you to be detected, which feels awful for a game with a stealth system.

If you're interested in the main game but wanted to test out the "jankyness", this game is great for that. My understanding is that the main game is a lot more open, so hopefully that translates to settlement design as well.

Intuitive puzzles that don't rely on being able to differentiate tones, thankfully.

The entire early game revolves around running away from zombies and shoving your ass in tiny rooms to turn on power switches.

Despite this, the game pretends like it has combat, giving you a foam pipe and a "government agent" that has an asthma attack if you sprint more than 5 seconds.

Paid $22 for it, refunded it after 2 hours of gameplay because somehow I'd rather play Dead Island.
