The worst players always try to carry without knowing what they're doing so it makes it hard for people who actually know what they are doing to win the game. This problem is still an issue even in legend rank brackets, Matchmaking usually 8/10 gives you the worst newest players it could find for a team and expect you to not get frustrated at them.
Dota tries to attract new players and match them up with experienced players but the new players always try to take the most important role which ends up ruining the chances of winning and they get flamed for it. It would be easier to teach a monkey how to play dota then most new comers.
In short the players are trash and will ruin your game. Dont even try to tell them what to do either they'll just ignore you and troll because think they know best despite not having a clue.
