Keep in mind I came into this game with NO EXPECTATIONS AT ALL. With that out of the way, I would say that this is something I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of the whole year. If I followed the hype like the majority of the playerbase I would of most likely been mad since it seems a lot of things that were promised remain absent in the final version. (Check any early gameplay demos, you'll see what I mean)

OPTIMIZATION -I am trying to get friends into buying this game and experience what I experienced however the optimization in this game is the worst I have seen. This game is meant for next gen systems/pc, though I hope to see an optimization patch in a future update.

LOCATIONS - Night City is booming with different unique locations. From the churning badlands to the forgotten wastes of pacifica, the game throws new ♥♥♥♥ at you and keeps the locations fresh and exciting. The quests make you actually interact with the city, going in building you thought you couldn't reach or interacting with objects you'd think wouldnt be interactable.

GRAPHICS - The game is just astonishing even with low settings on, and the rey tracing does not make my pc ♥♥♥♥ itself even on low settings which some games cant seem to get right. I swear every play through I can't help but stare at certain angles and just sit there in awe.

VEHICLES - The vehicles are going to be the main thing you burn your money on and trust me you want to. Each car has their interiors mapped out in detail so you will be getting the bang out of you buck. Too bad most of the cars, even the most expensive ones drive like ass.

WEAPONS - The guns can get creative. Sometimes with a pistol that talks to you, or smart guns that direct the bullets to the closest enemy, but other from that nothing too big. You'll even run into some unique melee weapons like a dildo, or a half broken shovel.

AUGMENTATIONS - Really wish they'd add more in future updates because you see them hype up the mantis blades that come out of your arm and other tech like that but there is only a few options to choose from. I personally just want more flavor and imagination put into this section, but aside from that the things we do have are really good, reason I want more of it.

SKILL TREE - A lot of the points you invest will shake up your play style, like put in a certain amount of strength points you will be able to rip the guns from turrets and use them as your own, or use your cool points for instant overhead takedowns. You will also be able to use these points for certain dialog options along with the path you have chosen for extra replay ability. Along with that you can reset your points on the fly in case you mess up something or just wanna try something new!

WHAT DO YOU DO? - The campaign and side quests are TOP TIER, you interact with just about everything and the acting is so good. If anything carries this game its the narration. I've played this game at least 4 times as of writing this and each ending still brings at least a tear to my eye and leaves me off satisfied. You also have NCPD takedowns to do in case you want more combat missions which is mediocre, its not bad, but nothing too good. Other from that, thats about it which is pretty bad. You see poker tables and mini games that you CANT interact with, and kinda kills the whole atmosphere of this bustlin city. I hope in future updates they add something to go along with the quests because I have found myself in multiple scenarios where I have to wait for a quest chain to pop up and i've done just everything. The only thing to burn time is just drive, and to me that's boring.

Melee combat system - Its kinda ass. For the beat the brat quest chain, you have to box certain enemies and the system just does not work in its current state. You need to build towards a brawler build, and get augmentations that fit the fighting playstyle to even STAND A CHANCE. Even if you block most enemies their damage still goes through and sometimes even one shots you. The final boss for this ♥♥♥♥ quest chain is a BULLET SPONGE ..... Have to abuse a bug to even have fun in this quest chain and I swear if they patch the bug before they fix their system, im goign to flip my ♥♥♥♥.

Outside of those minor problems, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game good job reddit.
