Gets boring quickly, puzzles are basically solved for you and monsters are not too intimidating. Not a go to if you want something spooky

First off i enjoyed the game
Good Points-
Unique building mechanics
Cool new mechanics
Enemies are designed well and interact with the player well
Caves are an amazing upgrade from The Forest
Beautiful graphics

Bad Points-
Too much of the story is left to guess work, a lot is implied where somethings should have been inferred
There seems to be no 'end goal' unlike The Forests clear goal of finding Timmy
Huge map made just to be huge, adding caves for no purpose and being directly lead to POIs
GPS seemed great but, it could have been a mid to late game item, it just tells you where to go instead of creating exploration and doesn't even have a compass...
Messy story line leaving too many questions unanswered
Guns implicated poorly, and again no clear reason for them being implicated as so. Like there's some unequipped army there for whatever reason. Why not have weapons of different condition, i would have much preferred to have just the shotgun but with 3 tiers, early, mid and end game spec. Or even add the revolver as a side quest only found using clues. It just doesn't make sense to have a magazine loaded gun unless you chambered it until mid to end game.
Clunky UI and item interaction. Bring back The Forests cooking and add hotkeys
Absolutely no reason to make a base, even as a regular player.
Very disappointing and empty Ending especially having no end boss

I just think they went in a different direction than I expected by playing The Forest. Disappointed with their decisions in game design. But will play more and hope the full release at least outlines and gives a fuller representation of their intentions.
