10/10 Spend more time building hyper tube launchers than building a factory.

This game is well worth it. I was a long time player of ARK: Survival Evolved and I can safely say I've had much more fun in the past 25hrs playing than the 400 I have in that.
-The map is huge and full of life, camps/villages/towns are all around with several different biomes to explore.
-Combat is a little clunky at times but being able to combo moves and experiencing unique weapon styles keeps it fluid and interesting.
-You don't just tame pets in the game, you also "aquire" followers to travel with and work around your base.
-Base building rocks! there are soooo many options and styles to choose from and a tonne of furniture options I absolutely love it :D

It's basically like playing pokemon but instead of throwing pokeballs you're throwing your own balls against some wild cat girls crotch.

Jokes aside the game is very pleasant to play. The Map is fairly big with a lot to explore and the Graphics are really nice, They're what i'd imagine WoW would look like if it was developed today.
There's no particular story but you get given a bit of background lore which also explains how the game works.
The character creation has a lot to offer even in it's early stages.

Surprisingly for an Alpha it's fairly well made, you notice that there's a lot of open space between locations but fast travel is there to help relieve that but that's all I can say apart from "it's in alpha".

The games fun and being free it's worth picking up if you enjoy playing these types of games.

10/10 Needs a sequel asap.

Game of the year 2019.

As A new player to the Total War franchise I'm happy to say i've had great fun playing this game so far and totally recommend it to everyone.
I only have a couple of criticising views for this game and that's that the AI hero's WILL NOT leave you alone ever.. and the fact that you can't play as every faction right from the start, however you can sort that out with the brilliant mod support coming in from the community.
It might have a large (for steam games) £40 price but it's worth it imo, even better if you can get it in a steam sale.

Rampant cheater problem still exists 10 years later.

Game was playing completely fine and was really enjoyably for the first few hours.
But halfway through the evacuation campaign mode, map textures dissapeared and was causing me to fall through the world and die.. I restarted the game in an attempt to reload them but as i was doing so someone else was able to join and took a great game away from me and my friends.

If you really want this game I recommend waiting until a sale comes around and this game is purchasable for no more than £10. it's really not worth as a much as say, full priced Arma3 with all currently availiable DLC's.

If you played the the last beta for this, do not expect anything more than what was in that beta, it is exactly the same thing.

Hopefully the game gets expanded and new maps and charecters are added in (in an update for free, not another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC) and game breaking bugs are fixed very soon, as well as pricing being dropped, £10 for one extra monster is a load of crap..

I have so much fun playing this games with friends and generally anyone on a server! Theres something for everyone in this, from TTT to Melon Bomber theres always going to be something you like about this!
