House Builder falls so short of what it can be. Basic movement is incredibly glitchy among many other things. Absolutely cannot recommend. Could be a potentially chill and fun game but at least on my high-end PC it functions terribly. Wish the gameplay was more stable but what I experienced was not ready for release (not even as a sale item). What makes it worse is for this painfully unfinished game, they have multiple DLCs. FIX THE BASE GAME

Picked up for $4 on Humble Bundle. Big fan of this game early on and it's developed into an awesome work. I'm really picky with the games I play and this one was totally worth. If you're on the fence, get it now!

I love the game but it crashes CONSTANTLY. This problem desperately needs to be fixed. I'm running the game on the lowest graphic off an RTX-2080 and the game still crashes. I would play this game way longer but it has such major stability issues (and from what I saw online this game has had stability issues since launch). If this game was fixed, I would definitely recommend it, but in it's current state I really can't

TLDR; Game is great but crashes constantly

UPDATE: Put graphical settings to lowest, find the .exe of the game and set it as "run it as adminstrator" and also set it to run in windows compatibility mode as windows 8. I did all this is the "public beta" version of the game. Right click on the game in your game library and go to properties. In one of the tabs you can find a setting to toggle the game build to run it in the public beta version. I love this game but I will keep my review as a thumbs down until more effort is put into making the game stable. With my workaround, crashes have become extremely rare. Hope this helps someone. Buy the game if you are willing to risk it not working. I'm glad it works for me now and at this price point, is arguably worth the risk! If you really don't want to risk it at full price, definitely buy this game on a steam sale.

This game has way too many random mechanics and anyone can ruin your game if they want to at any point. There's even final round games that are entirely random who wins (Jump Showdown - I'm looking at you).
With so much of your success in the game determined by the actions of others, it's not a fair, balanced or even a reasonable game. While there's some skill involved, it's mostly just muscle memory because the maps barely ever change and since the games are so simplistic and cheese-able, there are so many cookie cutter strategies out there for each mini-game that you'd be dumb not to follow. This leads to incredibly repetitive gameplay (not to mention that the mini-game selection in small).
In most team games, its impossible to carry (ex: Tail Grab). On top of this, if anyone decides to grief you: you lose.
Also, this game would be fine with keyboard and mouse, but for some reason, devolver thought it was a great idea to disallow the player the ability to change their mouse button keybinds. I don't want my mouse binded for this game but it's impossible to unbind actions from the mouse. Also: there are a variety of PC-specific glitches like having your window focus fall out of the game unexpectedly and having your mouse cursor show on your screen during the game! This combined with regular disconnections from Fall Guys servers makes this such a stupidly frustrating, unfun, and unbalanced game

I get that this game is being hyped by streamers and Youtubers alike, but this game really isn't a fraction as great as it seems. Expect it to just be looked back on as a fad in a few years

Actually worst keyboard controls ever - use controller.
Also, loudest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game ever. Actually set it to 1% volume in audio mixer before playing.
This game legitimately perforated my eardrum

This game is an absolute trip and an experience like absolutely nothing else. I appreciate the ingeuinity behind it so much. Its really a game that has you run through such a wide variety of different experiences. You find yourself appreciating every single moment because eventually it is gone. In the end, all you can hope is you left things better than you entered

10/10 will die again

Really solid game. Got it as a gift. Highly suggest also picking up TW:WH1 for the dlc and TW:WH2 Vampire Coasts dlc. Really insane replayability and a singular campaign provides a HUGE amount of potential playtime if you like long-running games. Co-op is a nice touch too even if its a little rough in some places. Fun to play with a friend
