I am very very sorry but I deadass cannot bring myself to hate this game, this is the best experience as a casual player I have gotten ever from a battlefield title

What little free time I had before the beta was immediately swallowed up by ranked, I should not have 70+ hours in this already

Scroll down for pros and cons list

All seriousness tho, despite the lackluster Game-Mode selection on the launch of the beta, overpriced cosmetics, lack of an actual full-screen mode and absolutely wacky servers I really really love this game. Halo infinite delivers what has to be one of the best sprint mechanic implementations in the halo franchise by far, the armor 'power ups' or whatever tf they're called are all pretty good, repulsor is by far the best alongside grapple which both add a lot to the movement in-game. Shooting feels crisp and clean and honestly other than the new shotgun being absolutely horrible when compared to its predecessors the guns all feel like they're sitting pretty nicely balance-wise.

To make this a lot easier for me to explain with my prone-to-rambling brain here's a pros and cons list to the game (AS OF BETA)

PROS
  • First mainstream Halo game in like 5 years
  • Captures the authentic halo experience of days long since past while providing a new fresh experience
  • Devs have been very responsive to player feedback, working alongside the community to make changes
  • Tons of accessibility settings for those like me who need them/find them helpful
  • Entirely free multiplayer
  • Great graphical fidelity, (beautiful textures, great models, amazing prop design)
CONS
  • Often overpriced cosmetics
  • Server issues
  • Battlepass progression has been subject to a lot of debate, progression was very slow likely (on launch, I wont comment on the updated battlepass progression as I was maxed out shortly after the change)
  • Hit registration (especially for melee) is very wonky sometimes
  • Major lack of starting customization options for armor, especially when compared to previous titles
  • Voice chat issues for in game fire-team, occasionally you just wont be able to hear anyone in your party (use discord or xbox party chat to remedy)

Overall thoughts? Game-play does not fall short at all, its Halo in all its glory and in my opinion its already one of my Fav titles in the franchise. The places it does fall short are mostly not a part of game-play at all; The store prices or battle-pass progression. While the game-mode pool is lackluster before launch and the prices of cosmetics are a little 'out of hand' this is an amazing Halo game that despite its current flaws does not fall short in delivering the Halo multiplayer experience with a new coat of paint.

PLUS FREE MULTIPLAYER

I BOUGHT THIS GAME AS A JOKE

Its the autumn sale, I saw 100% Orange Juice on sale. Honestly knowing nothing about it I thought it was a hentai game or something.

>See the 4 pack for like 6 bucks.
>Why not

Now its 1 am me and my roommates have been playing for almost 3 hours nonstop. This game is incredibly fun to play, which is weird; on paper this game-play isn't much. Roll dice, move your little anime dude and battle monsters. I was worried looking at it it card game elements aren't really my style on account of me being incredibly stupid but no, the card elements are straightforward easy to understand and pretty fun; at least to me because I like pretending I've setup the 'master deck' when in reality I still don't know what i'm doing.

100% Orange Juice is an amazing game that held the attention of 3 people who suffer from ADHD, as well as keeping them up for several hours. Love this game so effin' much and definitely suggest getting the 4 pack for all your friend-havers out there. Even if you don't have friends by the look of it there are tons of online lobbies to meet people in!

thanks for reading my ramble review, hope you enjoy this game as much as me and my roommates did

As someone with a crippling fear of gore I bought this as a joke. Yeah playing this for the first 2 hours made me increasingly sick and nauseous but I'll be damned if I didn't say ripping and tearing demons was incredibly therapeutic. Graphically gore looks pretty damn nice especially when I realized the more chunks you can see blown off the demons actually displays their health. Doom Eternal is actually one of my first arena shooter type games. I learned quickly when it comes to movement Its highly imperative that I keep moving and understand the build up of the map to avoid completely surrounded and overwhelmed (which admittedly still happens to me a lot). If you have heard literally anything about DOOM you know by now the sound design will not disappoint. Dynamic sound design makes for interesting high octane metal gracing the combat and beautifully collaborating and changing with each shot you take and weapon you choose to use. If DOOM ETERNAL's score doesn't get you hyped and moving you need to see a doctor.

Overall I'd give doom a solid 9.5/10 my only issues being minor bugs I've encountered such as getting launched into the air by mancubus' (mancubi?) and some issues regarding the menus. Additionally I also dislike some of the areas between the high action arenas, sometimes I found it hard to navigate or figure out exactly what the game wanted to me do. Other times it seemed like the path between the arenas were dull and repetitive. I found they were always filled with the tentacle enemies which I didn't really find to be anything but an annoying appearance I definitely recommend this if your a fan of literally any shooter, experienced tactical shooter vets who want a fun aim trainer, and even the single player steves and sallys out there that want games to play without worrying about other players and team balance. This games is a high octane thrill that never disappoints.

When I first heard about no mans sky, it was shrouded in horrible reviews. Broken promises and empty gameplay. Whilst I got this game at a fraction of the steam price, I am still appalled at what it has become. This game has surpassed my expectations and I've come to love the game. As a frequent player of Elite Dangerous, I definitely reccomend this for players looking for a familiar experience with all the things you wish Elite Had. The procedurally generated planets are somewhat memorable, especially your first few. This game is best played in vr, the amount of subtle immersion found everywhere made the experience way better.

In short, the Gek were genocidal, Sentinel Walkers are only scary the first time, and storm crystal "farming" is op.

Hope this helps, GG
