The game is fantastic, it's basically an improvement from World/Iceborne under every aspect.

But the performance is awful, i have a 3080 and an i5-13600k and the game frequently dips below 60 in open areas or when there's many npcs or herds of monsters. Luckily it's still very playable even if it fluctuates between 50 and 70+ fps.
All of this at 2K resolution.

Also the multiplayer aspect is so convoluted and confusing, instead of simply creating your lobby and inviting people you have to jump through multiple link party invites and more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i don't know why japanese devs are uncapable of making a simple online system for their games.

I still recommend it because the game is super fun, there's a ton of content and there will be more. Hopefully they will patch it and make it run decently

Good roguelike, cool aesthetic, fun guns, cool bosses.

Builds don't go super crazy because A LOT of the items revolve around eggs/keys/bombs or other boring aspects. Most broken builds for me revolved around finding a good gun and just upgrading it over and over with the badges that you get from bosses/challenge rooms or other rooms

Early Access Review
Body block in an ARPG, if more than 4 or 5 enemies are around you good luck getting out of them. You'll just get stun locked to death.
Ranged is infinitely easier than melee, as per usual in these games. It's like the cannot balance them properly for melee classes.
Random oneshots out of nowhere that force you to run through huge maps over and over again with barely any movement ability.
Stingy loot.
It's an early access so it will probably get fixed. Right now it's just frustrating and boring

While it's graphically impressive and the action on screen can be cool, the game is just a mindless spam of the attack button with no combos or any thought involved besides a couple abilities.
The story is also incomprehensible as it throws names and characters talking about random ♥♥♥♥ at you all the time.
The skill trees are all boring passive stuff.
The exploration is a chore since you have no map and some areas are pretty big while all looking the same.

The only redeeming part are the bosses which are a lot and they are all pretty unique.

Game's good.
I'm having no performance issues over here, at least so far. I have an RTX3080 and i5-13600k and i'm averaging 80-90 FPS in the open world and 70 in crowded areas. All of this playing in 2K and with ray tracing on.

Gameplay wise it's literally the first Dragon's Dogma but bigger and better, if you liked that one you'll love this one. Also it probably has the best exploration in any open world. No 8000000 markers of the same 5 activities repeated until you have to puke.

This is by far the roguelike with the best combat that i've ever played, which is expected since it's from the Blazblue universe.

Overall i'm loving it, the story is interesting (although very criptic), the combat is fantastic, there's 10 different characters all completely unique (with more coming) and the music is great.
The only complain i have is that levels are very similar to each other, it's pretty clear that the budget of the game went into all the other aspects because most levels are just: keep going to the left until the next world.

Apparently there's some sort of PvP too but i have 0 interest in it so i have no idea if it's good.

Really fun and unique game. There's so much love put into it.
It does get a bit repetitive in my opinion since it's pretty long (took me around 20 hours) but it's worth playing. It constantly throws new mechanics and stuff at you without overwhelming the player

This game is good and fun, problem is that it lacks variety and replayability.
Maps, at least so far, don't seem to change anything besides visuals, there's 2 characters and a couple different domes and gadgets but every run feels very samey.
Get it when heavily discounted imo.

I don't even know what this game is supposed to be.
The story and dialogues make literally no sense, go watch like the first hour of the game on youtube if you don't believe me. It's as if a 13 years old wrote the script, full of cringe.

I have no idea if combat gets better later on but what it offered so far cannot carry the huge pile of ♥♥♥♥ that the rest of the game is; combat is slow and clunky and lacks any kind of impact.

This is easily the worst game i've played this year so far.
