brah imagine having to go around leaving thumbs down in every capcom game I love cos of stupid4ss drm that's destroying the performance of SINGLE PLAYER GAMES........... the F*** CAPCOM?!

They actually added enigma DRM to this one too..? why am I not surprised.

Do I really have to pirate this in order to play it capcom? to think pirated version is actually safer to use then the legit version I purchased. REMOVE THE MALWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly thinking I bought it for less then 3 bucks m not super butthurt about it, but still.. I heard from reviews and friends that the game wasn't great so I went with low expectations but how did it manage to beat even my lowest expectation.

The story is bland (which is to be expected) the characters boring, the overall gameloop is literally do the same thing over and over again, the "dungeons" are the exact SAME even tho I entered a dungeon that was in the OTHER corner of the map like c'mon even if these are "RNG" at the very least care to put certain dungeon's layout in certain places and keep 'm there.

I tho that unlocking the 2ndary class would make the game somewhat more "fun" to play but it didn't did much and the final nail in the coffin are the weapons, all of 'm feel so underpowered while on BL3 even a green weapon can do some dmg but here even legendaries do next to nothing in some enemies.

I was pushing myself to play the game hoping at the least I would enjoy the first playthrough (knowing the end game is s#!t from what I've was told) but I rather play something I like there's really no reason for me to go through this.

Honestly BL died on part 2, this franchise is dead to me.

I've seen online ppl calling this game "falcom's hidden gem" and true be told I had never heard of this game and only came across this game a week ago by mere chance while randomly browsing steam's store. I'm shocked that took me this long to find this game and the fact ppl don't talk about this one is a real crime lol. Anyway a very good game if u know falcom's Ys serie this is very similar to those games in the format and gameplay and even if ur not familiar with Ys I still think is a solid buy if u like action rpgs in general. The level design is great, the story although a bit generic, is good. Maybe the progression is a bit stale but it gets the job done.

The only thing u should know is that it has one achievement that is bugged and u can't get it unless u use "other means" to unlock it which sucks but I don't think is a deal breaker.

TL;DR play it co op with a friend if u planning on doing multiple playthroughs to unlock the true ending. If u play it solo like me don't even bother u will hate this. And in case u wonder in terms of lore it's 100% standalone it has nothing to do with the other games.

After finishing it 2 times and having to go through the game a 3rd time (each playthrough takes roughly 3h) and watching every shortcut I can't take and getting punished for it cos I decided to play it solo I got to the last few levels and got totally burned out... just the thought of having to go through the game yet ANOTHER time already made me hate it the platforming in this game is a nightmare.

Here's my problem all the shortcuts are thought out to be taken with co op in mind. Without spoiling it u wont have access to shortcuts the first 2 playthroughs IF u do some stuff during ur 2nd playthrough which if u don't u locked in without shortcuts until 4th playthrough, and if u do the thing for have the shortcut on 3rd playthough u will be skipping a whole episode (also there's no prompt or anything so if u want to do every episode in order u may need to google that up).

I like the core gameplay, some bosses were fun but everything else was a pain and became a real chore after 2 playthroughs. Ended up rolling my eyes every time I failed a jump on a moving platform cos it was slightly upwards then my character's box detection falling through the platform asking myself why in the world am I doing with this time waster of a bad design game.

I SERIOUSLY tried but the game, did whole tutorial plus whole first level (snowfields) to half way through 2nd level (jungle) is plain bad, bad gameplay, bad design, boring repetitive unoriginal enemies. The game isn't "hard" is straight up broken. IF u still want to give it a shot cos u "think" it looks good from screenshot/videos try it for 5min and u will see how bad it is.
I paid 0.40c for this garbage and I still feel ripped off.
Do yourself a favor and hit that "Ignore" button so u never come across this piece of s#!t ever again.
