Before I start, I want to point out that the negative reviews on this page are from people who ask for too much or don't bother trying to fix simple issues.

Two major points:

- Yes, the game is capped at 30FPS. It runs amazingly smooth - much better than it did on the PS2. No stuttering, no lagging, nothing. Yes, your 144hz monitor can run the game perfectly. If it doesn't, it's your specs, not the port. Be grateful the devs capped at 30 instead of putting out a broken game.

- Yes, there is a controller bug. You CAN use your controller. Resetting steam has proved to help most people. Keep trying. Ignore the negative reviews toward this.

Review:

This game is absolutely gorgeous. I have barely 30 minutes in game and already feel the need to brag about how happy and proud I am that this port didn't disappoint. Do yourself a favor and put it in 1920x1080 at 60hz and you're gonna have a beautiful time. This game is artistically pleasing as well as enjoyable with more than 45+ hours of gameplay (not including finding all of the stray beads). This is a game that you can come back to at any point and still enjoy no matter how many times you play the amazing story.

While the game doesn't offer many graphic tunning options, they don't seem to be needed in or outside of combat. I was mostly worried about the motion blur making me sick but it's not at all bothersome. Runs the way it did on PS2 and Wii but without the stuttering or distorted figures (y'know, those old green and pink blobs?). The specs on the storepage are all wrong but it only seems to be a bit CPU heavy. Nothing too bad, however.

This game is an absolute steal at $20. Please, do yourself a favor and play this game to completion. It is an underrated masterpiece.
