You may look at the game and get immediately discouraged because of all the information or "varying play type" jargon but trust me when I say I only write reviews for good games or ones that are horrible. I had such a fantastic time playing with my friend. It was a very enjoyable experience for the both of us and we were constantly dying to play more. We got to the end in around 29 hours. There is a considerable amount of content already in the game even though its in early access. If youre looking for a co op survival this is the game for you, if youre looking for a co op survival with a heavy focus on exploration then THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU. Its truly a captivating gameplay experience along with the laboratory theme that i personally love. You may not notice it from promo images but while playing, I noticed there was inspiration from SCP, which, if thats also your thing then you love this game.

Comments for devs: In the early game its very much "up in the air" what players are supposed to do to survive. My friend and I love survival games so we figured out the best strats but for less experienced players I think it could be a bit confusing. However, if this is very much intended then well done because it gave us so much freedom and really set the mood. In the mid game, when youre exploring manufacturing, we found that the enemies have an absurd amount of health for our current weaponry. I had even picked up the security pistol which was our best weapon at the time and it was taking forever to kill the massive amount of soldiers coming at us. Side note for the pistol, if its going to be irreparably damaged after using it, then it should have way way way more durability considering the metric ton of ammo i got for it (its also a mint condition weapon, why does it break so easily, and me, being a scientist, not know how to repair it.) Last thing is, thank you so much for making a cool game, so many games have promise but fail to deliver, i had so much fun. Thank you.

@dev i have a suggestion

1. please make it more clear as to how upgrade points are obtained. I have been playing and i am getting upgrades but i cant tell if there is a specific thing that gives you more upgrade points or if its just "go as a long as you can lol".
2. im not sure as i have not done testing, but, in my experience it seems that some characters get drops that are more favored to the character. im not sure if im crazy and that isnt a thing or if it is. ive noticed that while playing Dizzy Wizzy, rate of fire drops (as items and multipliers from bosses) are signifigantly more rare then they might be while playing as Wiggle Woogle.
3. this is specifically an issue with the yellow goo item but when you get a lot of it and get super high rate of fire you cannot see ANYTHING.
4. i would appreciate more detail in the description of items, specifically where an item will work with another item. for example, if shooting multiple projectiles, does each projectile have a chance to trigger chain lightening or only one? furthermore, if u have soft gloobs (piercing shots), do those shots that have hit an enemy and triggered chain lightening still trigger chain lightening if they hit another target? and again, when a projectile hits and splits (idk the name of the upgrade) do those split projectiles trigger chain lightening too and AGAIN can they pierce targets like a normal shot and then trigger again?
5. after some point when ive amassed a large amount of projectile dupers and things of that sort the game begins lagging in conjunction with double mobs dropping more xp orbs that i will only have a good frame rate if i get a xp collector thing that picks them all up off the floor. at that same point i noticed that damage numbers vanish (not that i could read them anyways)

its good fro aim training but there are some just user interface issues that could be better

i like it. once u figure it out, its super fun. And the recording part is quality. 10/10 would recommend

I've been playing this masterpiece since D1 and D2 is soooooooooooooooooooo good! Id say year one was a bit lack luster but now with this amazing dlc and new story and weekly updates, id say this game is a 10/10. I dont have many hours on stream but on blizzard i had well over a thousand after cross save came out and i had over 3000 on console. That may be a bias opinion because of how much i adore this game but this is a hell of a game and you will become addicted to farming and crying for perfect RNG but this is the best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game out there.
