Shoot bug. Call strike. Do salute. Railgun your friend in the back of the head. Earn Badges. Sleep. Repeat.

Early Access Review
The fact one guy makes this blows my mind, the idea is retro but done in a way that doesn't feel like the same as any of those older games. Its new exciting and even with the (somewhat) limited content we currently have in Early Access feels extremely repayable, even as a solo player. I gotta give props where its due and good on Bohemia Incubator for green-lighting this amazing project. Makes me excited for the future of THIS game as well as the Bohemia Incubator program as a whole. (y'all better be paying this man his money lol )

Early Access Review
Good concept, could be something nice but it seems to be yet another unpolished under the radar Warhammer game release. With care this game can easily become a hidden gem for any fan of Warhammer to enjoy

This game is great and I dont know how the steam score isnt positive yet. For those of you interested peep below.

Firstly: I dont think enough people realize how 2000 series cards cant run everything at max graphics anymore.

Secondly: the game is not incomplete upon release in my eyes they have the core gameplay all laid out for us and its gone extremely well so far, cant even complain about repetitiveness of the maps or anything because the mix of classes and the enemy variety simply does away with familiarity on any map.

LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: for those of you following the dev map like a bible of "broken promises" f*cking grow up and touch grass no one consumer side seems to ever understand that those are more pie in the sky length goals and not "this is going to be the final product now we make it" no, there is a dev process, a whole length life cycle to give us such an amazing time.

(P.S I love you ogryn players signed a psyker/zealot player)

Im writing this in November 2021, B2042 is not where the hype was, Vanguard is terrible, and iron harvest was the last strategy game I was excited for. Then a little email came into view, one that announced the release of the Aquatic Species DLC and suddenly I remembered STELLARIS the 4X masterpiece I would binge play for hours at a time, alone and with friends. I smiled, heard the sea shanty and began to play again. The fact this game gets so much love to date is astounding and if you're someone who hasn't played it yet, change that. Its truly a fine wine that gets better with age.

There is not too much to say about this game, it is the same as any modern Total War with the addition Mythos in the sense you have a campaign ripe with features and unique mechanics.

The only real wish I have is that they did more with the special units other than make them ridiculously overpowered early game. The recruitment system with city specific unit unlocks was really well tuned, though if there was a global recruitment in Mythos such as WH2 I feel the mythos experience would be even better and lessen the waiting game when moving all your armies from the Greek Peninsula to Turkey or visa versa.

The graphics engine is where this game really shines on my mid tier level tower this game runs smoother than melted butter and it such an amazing thing seeing that happening with new titles coming soon. I will say the game also plays pretty well, I'm not too sure what the issue with the A.I is that everyone seems to be going on about, all of my play-throughs that I've had since even epic launch have been fine, nothing about treacherous A.I and such other than the clearly designated traits.

Overall I'd give this game a solid 8.5 I'm a sucker for ancient myths and this scratches that itch with usual high quality game play from TW.

Ah yes, when I thought electrical was the death trap I entered decontamination and saw my body beneath me. Cause I was dead. I always die in decontamination.

I have been playing this game for 3 years and I have to say, even though it has been a full year since the last official update I couldn't love this game more. The ACE mod is still very cared for, the ideas and creativity with buildings and play styles is practically endless. And other than villager cap, this game is almost entirely polished at this point, its very rare I encounter a bug that makes my experience sour. Now with that being said here's to address the elephant in the room. Everyone always complains about not being able to have more than 20-24 villagers, but honestly I don't see how you can still enjoy the game with all of those villagers. I struggle to find the game immersive at 20 because I like being able to manage each detail without things getting messy just so I can have 100 villagers for the hell of it. Plus the dev road map was very clearly overambitious and it's practically a miracle they made the game this good for what the game requires to be done in order to simply function. Other than that I hope one day the devs or even just one of them, continue on this little project as a labor of love because it is so potential ridden and beautiful. I think I'm all done here, have a good rest of your day/night to whoever reads this.
