Wildcard updated Ark survival evolved to the newer Unreal engine, replaced the models and textures of everything on the first map and then called it a new game. That's it, that's literally it.

Am i surprised that Wildcard would repackage the same game with minimal changes? No.
Did i inexplicably buy it anyway? Yes.

This entire this DLC feels akin to chronic unwavering constipation.
The only good thing about this DLC is that almost all of the numerous annoying as ♥♥♥♥ hazards can be easily ignored and sprinted past. This DLC almost put me off New Vegas entirely.

Dude.

Don't get me wrong i really love this game, but I absolutely detest and disagree with making upgrade tickets available as DLC, especially when they made sure to add them after the fact. It makes the game and all the challenges trivial. Screw off with your microtransaction pay to win ballocks Capcom.

And anyone who bought those addons is a wimp.

Blender is a software that's definitely good enough to be up there with industry standard game development and movie VFX programmes, and last time i checked many game companies have actually started using it, which is why its absolutely astonishing that Blender is completely free and open source.

Whilst being beaten in terms of usefulness in many aspects by other programmes, for example you wouldn't choose Blender over Substance for texturing and you would not choose Blender over Zbrush for sculpting etc (if you have access to these other programmes of course), blender is still an extremely capable piece of software with a very wide variety of things you can do with it, such video editing, shader graphing, compositing, animating, and of course 3D modelling, just to name a few of them. It's also extremely customizable and all the UI can be adjusted to how you want it.

Not to mention Blender is also probably the best place to start learning anything like 3D computer graphics.

And we can all take comfort knowing that no matter what, none of us could possibly ♥♥♥♥ up as badly in life as this game has at launch.

It's a good thing he's white.

This game is unbelievably short and still manages to be one of the most boring resident evil games by far. They have done away with the Nemesis as a stalker enemy almost completely, and is now entirely designated to being a cinematic set piece or a piss easy boss fight. Even with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Nemesis aside, the rest of the game as a whole is just weaker than its precursors. Honestly probably just play the remake of RE2, it is leagues better.

beat this demo in 4 minutes and 19 seconds. Considering this is a demo for an alternate mode in a game that is already out i think it could have been a bit longer. Also third person Ethan is a really cool idea, and obviously fits in well with resident evil but the movement is quite janky, especially with strafing.

Severely underrated, on god.

As someone who has played many videogames in my time, i can say for sure that this game is definitely in the upper echelon in terms of gameplay and story among other things. almost every game iv'e played seems to have overly complex plots that require a thousand+ hours to understand, but Lego pirates of the Caribbean presents its story in an understandable and digestible format that at the same time isn't simplified or understandable to simpletons or morons.

One thing that really makes this game shine is its gameplay, practically every other game iv'e ever played felt like the difficulty was bullcrap and that it had cheated me every time i died, but this game has a perfect balance of everything meaning that if i died, i knew that it was my fault that i died. The immaculate and innovative game design allowed for a challenging, but doable game with plenty of tough fights and puzzles which are sure to give you your moneys worth.

As a mature adult who's also a huge fan of pirates and lego, i'm very happy to see a game that truly delves into the more adult topics of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean such as skeletons, ghosts, zombies and sword fighting. Honestly iv'e just about beaten the first chapter (there are four), and even now loving this game and i'm so exited for whats next after i figure out how to do the puzzle im currently on.

8/9 Absolutely recommend for any true gamers who need a genuinely challenging game without any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
