When the words 'horror', 'violence' and 'romance' come to mind, I fail to think of many good stories that are able to contain all these themes firmly.

This is one that able to perform such feat.
The horror made sense.
The violence made sense.
The romance made sense.

I unknowingly started playing the game hours after the Pristine Cut update just got released.
After finishing the game, I looked up what content was added from the new update, and man am I grateful for being able to experience the new content because some of them are probably the best highlights of the game for me.

This just became my favourite choose your own adventure game in terms of storytelling.

I had to reopen this game so many times in successions, that my friend complained how the steam notification of me opening the game basically filled up his entire monitor.

If there's more DLC I would do it again.

I completed this game a long time ago.
Yet to this day whenever I think about games that inspire creativity, this is one of those that comes to mind the fastest.
For years I struggle to describe what was so magical about this game so I left it unreviewed. Not that it means I now know what to write about this game though, I just want to recommend this to more people while I have the chance.

IMO despite how long since the original game was first released, to this day it manages to uphold expectations from fans of old school adventure games.

Amazing worldbuildings and character writings. The puzzles could be lacking logic at times but otherwise this game is just a wonderful ride from start to end.

This and the first game are some of the funniest point and click games I've ever played, give it a try if you are looking for some fun times.

The game was a fun time.

The dialogues feel very natural and I enjoyed the story a lot, though I wish it could last a bit longer.
Pretty satisfying experience overall for a free game, definitely worth the try.

As a software tester this is basically how I wish my job feels like.

The meta jokes can sometimes be a hit or miss but they got out a few wheezes out of me, take it for what it's worth.
Gameplay gets creative at times and it is those times that I noticed the amount of love put into this game.

2. Enjoyable story and characters, experience may varied
3. I have trust issues with people and now I have trust issues with AIs
