I guess its fine? You will run around (a lot) and that's fun, but the fighting is terrible and the mission amount to running to a marker, doing a thing, and running back. Some missions have you fight, but since the fighting sucks, it's not really fun. There really seems to be a lot of potential to this game, but most of what I was doing felt like a chore more than anything so I don't recommend it.

Absolver can be something cool and unique, but right now I have to many issues with it to recommend.

PROs :
-The combat is unique and creative, being able to learn new moves and create your own moveset is rather easy, the menus are confusing at first, but the creation menu lets you make and test your builds quickly; and in a couple of minute you can get the hang of it, and that part of the game is AMAZING. My initial reaction to this moveset building option was not so good, I felt overwhelmed, but after playing around with the whole thing only a couple of minutes, I understood how it worked.

-The visuals are pretty good (thx UE4)

-The 1 on 1 fighting is really cool

CONS
-This game performs poorly, I meet the required specs and it still stutters in any area that isn't secluded. The game even froze and crashed a couple of times.

-Bugs. I got stuck or fell through floors many times in my small amount of playtime

-The combat is not satisfying in any scenario that isn't a 1v1. The current way the game works it great, but in the many scenarios where you there will be more than two combatants, it's painfully obnoxious to fight. The only ways I found to fight such group in a manner that worked, was by throwing smaller hits and backing off, which isn't fun.

OTHER :
-Sound design is good, but lacks in some part, I got tired of hearing the same hit noises over and over again

-People in the game seem nice, and seem to prefer cooperation to PvP (since both are an option)

The game has a superb singleplayer and an alright multiplayer mode to play with friends. Its well made and I had tons of fun with it in the past, but I can't see myself telling others to purchase this game. The way the online mode is made to either make you farm money for hours in order to buy anything remotly fun is comletely insane. the game hopes that you will give in to the microtransactions. Furthermore, the recent actions that the publisher has taken against the modding community combined with what was said in a recent interview with their CEO is insulting to the people who purchased their game; we aren't meant to have fun, we are a product and they want our money, if we dont give them more money after the initial purchase, then we can ♥♥♥♥ off. This kind of mentality ruins games (as shown by their god awful boring grindy online mode) and shouldnt be accepted especially in a game where people have already paid full price initially. It is purely unethical from them to treat gamers this way and to actively try and stop fun things just so they may have more microtransaction money. Dont buy this game.
