My gaming backlog is rather large.
710+ In my unfinished games. 350+ In my finished games.
Surely I will beat them all.

Games I beat this year (Because I keep forgetting what I beat)
Earth Defence Force 6
Done in the old way of couch co op splitscreen. Fun not as good as EDF 5. The games gimmick can get a bit old. Playing the same levels you played in the past with slight changes was the recurring theme. Final boss was crap compared to EDF5.
Favourite lines: 1. My wife was killed over and over again. 2. Ball Sacks!

Another Crab's Treasure
I spent way too long searching areas when I didn't need to but the whole game had a nice vibe to it. There isn't many different enemies and the game is rather easy for a souls like. Even with that in mind the puns, simplicity and how good the game feels made it well worth playing. :mhwgood:

Dead Cells
I BLOODY DID BSC5 TRUE ENDING. It's finally over. Thank ♥♥♥♥.

Way too hard but eventually it clicks and you know what to do but the game is ridiculous unless you know to only invest in one stat but once you do the damage you do makes even the hardest difficulty relatively possible for most. That or I just got stupidly lucky but being lucky in this gets you barely anywhere.

Honestly one of the hardest roguelikes excluding Nuclear Throne, Crypt of the Necrodancer and Spelunky 2. I loved this game for what it is but got hard stuck after BSC2 because I didn't learn enough about how to do a lot of damage which is much more important that health. I hated the game but now that I can finally put it to rest I appreciate it.

Focused on making use of survival mutations in this order: Armadillo-pack, Necromancy, Soldier's Resistance. With those three you can pretty much just attack through anything and get healing without caring much about getting hit and not needing flasks either.

If you want to get to the end of the game it isn't worth it for that reason alone. The final boss is disappointing in all the times I got to it. Do the hard versions of the bosses in the boss rush. The game doesn't even tell you that it's a thing but are they A LOT harder. Might return to try beat each boss at their hardest but other than that I think I am done completely.

Black Myth: Wukong
Wow this game has a lot going for it since we haven't seen another sekiro like game since sekiro I enjoyed this one a lot but I played it on PS5 which had a decent few issues performance wise.

The game is rock solid in every sense and plays as it looks in videos. Just really beautiful and fun. Lots of different bosses and enemies but not much different ways to fight them similar to the issues sekiro had.

The only thing I can really say is that if you enjoyed sekiro play this. Also one of the few games you can play as a chinese monkey so if you care for that sort of thing I guess you should play this too.

Remnant 2
Way better than remnant 1 but that intro sequence is boring and there is so many notes in the game with secrets galore. You can end up going through the whole game thinking you found all the secrets but you sure as hell didn't. Surprisingly addictive even though there isn't that much variety overall though.

Get a friend or 2 and you will be spending around a week having a blast with them. I played with a close friend of mines and now we are going through the dlc together. Well worth it overall. Though it can be a slog if you decide to read notes or don't skip through dialogue when playing together.

Dreadout
I can't recommend this game as the way the game is designed leads players to be easily confused and get lost. I got lost to the point that I just wanted to turn the game off but I knew i was close to the end. I finished it just thinking I shouldn't have pushed myself through the extra hour or two.

Eversion
My head hurts from relearning I am bad at 2d platformers on keyboard while streaming the game. Fun. I have an aversion to this game now.

Perennial Order
So many of the bosses in this game have cool gimmicks with a lot of world and lore to explore but most of it went over my head just like in dark souls. The true sign of a souls like is you have no idea what the story is.

Night at the gates of hell
So many jumpscares. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Warhammer Space Marine 2
This one was a lot of fun though the combat is a bit clunky the game overall was just a good game. Having a big sword and a big gun and a big guy is basically living the dream. Except the world of warhammer is not a dream I wanna have.

Unfortunately my battle brother I was supposed to play the game with let me down by being not there for the call of duty repeatedly. May the emperor have mercy on him.

Dead Rising Remaster
Yup that was dead rising but remastered. Dunno what the deluxe bit is about but it basically is just dead rising again.

For Honor
i got bored and stopped playing it at the third chapter.

Silent Hill 2 Remake
I killed 398 enemies then killed myself in the in water ending. What a trip.

Laika: Aged through Blood
That ending left me really sad and with all the annoyances I got from playing the game it was a very mixed bag. I love the game but dying 1000 times before the end of the game says a lot. I just wish it had less meaningless side content. Turns out non of the side content really mattered and was really all just for a couple text boxes.

Minoria
A fun little game you can beat in a sitting or two. Just like other games with this style.

Escape the Backrooms
Played in a group of 3. It was ok. Could have been better but definitely could have been worse.

20 Minutes Until Dawn
Once you survive 20 minutes you have basically seen nearly everything the game has to offer.

Vampire Survivors
Took up a lot of time. I am still not done. So much to unlock

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night
I over explored and took my time way too slowly but it was honestly really fun and I enjoyed my time.

Boneraiser Minions
Finished in one day it's very short and sweet. Gave me a good pounding for awhile.

Lunacid
My new favourite indie game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what a game I loved every moment.

Cult of the lamb
Boring, casual, repetitive, pointless, overrated. The expectations completely ruined things for me. The game is painfully average.

La Mulana
Why did I beat this game... but still I love it. Especially "Eden" <3
