My head hurts. I do not recommend even though I "enjoyed' the game, unless you also love being frustrated :]

Not a bad game but incredibly repetitive and lacks depth. Grind for the sake of grinding with unsatisfying mechanics. Very casual game just not anything deeper than that.

-After playing for awhile it becomes very repetitive as what you experience in the first hour of the game is basically the whole game.

-The incredibly basic combat made me not want to do that part of the game. So I stayed in the cult which doesn't actually accomplish anything other than doing more damage or other pointless buffs.

-Characters in game have pretty much no personality either.

-The entire game is just going into an area 4 times so you can fight a boss then do that 4 times. Since the cult part has nothing going on other than holding down buttons for bars to go up, while followers do the same stuff you do.

-All the upgrades in the cult are basically make followers do it for you but for no purpose other than doing more of the same chores for no rewards or reason.

-If the combat had any depth this wouldn't be as great a problem but the difficulty setting only affects variables in game. No variety or new rooms just the same stuff but you and your followers die quicker.

-It's not got the content for it's asking price either since the game is lacking varied gameplay or meaningful unlocks.

The game wastes your time when it could be doing more to engage with the player.

I didn't want the dream to end but all things must come to an end.

A short metroidvania with a lot more metroid than anything else. Game has great vibes too.
However there is a lot of backtracking and the combat is a bit rough but still fun.

They made Yoshimitsu good. Now I feel bad when I play him in ranked.
