A significantly better baldurs gate without the polished finished. combat, builds, character dialogue and story all win but the game struggles with presentation and bugs at times. Story is amazing to repeat several times with a ton of different paths and choices to take including evil elements that really make you feel awful.

Game is basically early access and is releasing DLC that costs as much as the game itself does, absolute trash

Start game, run outside, die to bandits. Start again, run outside, avoid bandits, die to different bandits. start game again, stay inside and explore every bit i can, get a weapon, armor, food and water, THEN run outside and die to bandits. start again, don't carry anything in attempt to outrun bandits, die to bandits. This game definitely looks like a lot of fun but you're going to need a hundred hours to figure out what you're doing, not for me.

EA Review -"There is very little in this game I would change. Every class, weapon and perk is useful. The over world is done perfectly. Boss battle are done in interesting ways that make them more about strategy than brute force and each one has been unique so far. Trade is a little too lucrative later on, the traits might be better reduced to 5% reduction in cost and increase in value but that's just me. Combat is slightly repetitive and could use a few more troop layouts and maps but i'm sure that's planned for release. Would like to see more professional armies use things like shield walls or spear lines every once in a while, maybe just for story fights."

New maps were put in but nothing was done with army battles yet, organized forces should act like organized forces.

Fix random frame drops, lag spikes and some animation issues

I remembered why this game was ♥♥♥♥, spent 150 hours building a character only to have the developers add in an enemy that fully counters said character making them useless... Game is fun for a few dozen hours and worth the 15$ price tag. Do yourself a favor and don't do the end game grind, there's no fun to it just annoyances.
