I'm a fan of history, WWII and strategy games! What's not to like? My favorite part of the two games I've tried out from this developer (HOI4 & Stelaris) are the stories and events that are told throughout the game. I've often found myself pausing the game and going to Wikipedia to do some more reading. It's a really fun way to learn and experience events that each of the powers were making before - during - after the war.

Anyway, I'd really recommend this game to anyone who likes history and getting into the weeds with managing your armies, resources, and of course strategy!

A- The slight ding is for improvements that could be made to the interface to help manage everything going on. Things can get out of hand quickly if you don't learn to organize into armies. Some consistency between interface management capabilities of army, navy, air force would be nice as well.

So many hours of fun to be had. Wait for the Steam sales to pick it up. It's rapidly become one of my favorite games of all time.

This has been a fantastic DLC. The new Ix abilities are super fun and the implementation of this great board game expansion to the computer is spot on.

There are / were a few bugs at release, but several patches by an extremely responsive group of developers has got it working better and better with each patch.

I'd give this a very enthusiastic two thumbs up! Thanks to the folks who no doubt but in many many long hours to bring this to all of us. Cheers!

This is a very good game! Well balanced and most often games come down to the last turn or two. Tons of replayability. As of the time of this writing it is pretty easy to get a game online with other players. Minimal wait time.

What a great game! Simple to learn, hard to master. Congrats to the creators for a well rounded and original tactical strategy game. My kids got me this for Christmas and I can already tell it's going to be a favorite of mine for some time.

*UPDATE - Been playing this now for months and it doesn't get old! It's a steel at the price it is at. One of the best games I've ever played in this genera.

Great strategy game. Love the story lines throughout the game as you explore.
