This game is truly amazing. While it has some rough edges, such as a barren open world, a severe lack of checkpoints, and some peculiar decisions, the unparalleled freedom of game play sets it apart. As my first Metal Gear game, it engrossed me and made me fall in love with the series. I highly recommend it
