Super fun Co-op shooter game with RPG elements and just enough changes and modifier to missions to keep you replaying. Also (most) of the guns feel REALLY nice to shoot, and mixing that with the plethora of builds you can make really can make you feel powerful even though you're just a reject.

Some friends and I beat up Slenderman with nuclear brooms, several pots of soup, and a shotgun made out of alien bones while we wore suits of armor made of microwaves and pornographic magazines.

10/10.

While I do agree the game does need some balancing/tuning to weapons and builds (shotguns and tanklegs), I still think this is one of the best mecha games out there.

They made changes to make the actual gameplay less absolutely absurd but that didn't stop the levels itself just bad. Bad as in "where do I go?" or "the game is throwing 50+ enemies at me and I have no cover or health kits or pills" or "how did I get here?"

Story is still absolutely absurd of things sort of happening without any real explanation. Guns have a weird variety of volume with some being a bit quite, most being normal, and some being LOUD (The "original" SMG).
Oh yeah, if your car gets stuck in water, have fun running lmao.

Fun action game with lots of moves to string together in long combos while also calling in allies to help make those combos even longer. Story is nice and long, the amount of side characters could leave some people wanting but when you focus on just the main cast it wont bother you too much.

Only real downside I've had is that some bosses are human-sized or generally small and hit like trucks, so trying to see them while your full party is wailing on them with all of the particle effects is rather difficult, and then the next thing you know, your HP is gone.

Really fun space-dwarf-mining-bug exterminating-capitalism game to play with friends.

Very fun movement, levels, and weapons. Would recommend to anyone looking for games similar to Quake or just something fun in general.

Game is overwhelmed with bots. Every server you join is filled by them as they abuse aimbot and spam the chat. It's been like this for over 5 years now.

This game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥' mess tbh

I thought the idea of being this shape-shifting monster would be fun as hell to play as, being able to tear through practically anything as this unstopable beast.

The only problem is that every enemy and their mother is faster and stronger than you. Soliders carry rocket launchers which knock you down and shoot you even when you're right in their faces and they won't get hurt themselves.
Any enemy can call in a strike team, even helicopters. Mix that window for strike team calls being about 3 seconds while you're constantly getting knocked down by soliders, tanks, and hunters?

Yeah you're not going to stop them.

For some reason the developers thought that giving enemies attacks that you cannot knock them out of was a great idea for the hunters who can swing their arms with perfect accuracy and hit you even when you roll past them, not to forget you also usually fight 3-4 of these enemies at a time so it just becomes incredibly annoying.

This stuff combined just makes most fights result in you running in, having your health dropped to near death then running away and eating civilians since you can get knocked out of the animations by basically anything and die.

I like this game, I really do. But the recent actions with microtransactions turned my view of this game to something I can't really recommend. They added a Team Fortress 2 style lootbox system on top of charging crazy high prices (upwards of 20$) for weapon skin packs under the guise of funding future development. This I was fine with since it didn't change the core gameplay, but then they said they were going to start selling guns again.

Then the Halloween update came out and this time the guns weren't even in a pack together, but separate.
For 10 dollars each. That's absurd. And of course like I said, you can't see this on the steam page, just the in-game store.
