There will always be mixed feelings about this game. If you compare this game to the legendary Mass Effect Trilogy it's like a 6/10 game. If you compare it to other alternative space rpgs like Starfield or Outer Worlds 1-2 it's definitely a 8/10 game. Much better than both. So if you are looking for an alternative to Mass Effect Trilogy, this is still your best option until you get games like Exodus, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn and ofc Mass Effect 5. Check the ''Synth'' channel on Youtube. Dude has a good video about modding Andromeda. This game gets way better with mods. Especially with the FPS mod. Story and characters will still be mid but the combat is really fun, graphics and worlds are beautiful and Tempest is a cool ship.

But I still hate to break it to you, there will never be a better space rpg/opera than Mass Effect Trilogy. Those 3 games are like Tolkien's books. You'll never get a better fantasy story/world than Lotr and the Middle Earth, and you'll never get a better space story than Commander Shepard's story.

Great port. Almost perfect but there are a few fixable, simple npc bugs. Not anything game breaking. Game plays great, runs great without any performance issues. And playing this game with keyboard and mouse is a dream come true. Ofc it might look overpriced for a 14 yo game but RDR1 is not an ordinary 14 yo game. It's a true masterpiece and still better than most of the recent AAA titles. RDR2 is the best game ever for me but RDR1 has it's own charm. It feels like one of those legendary Spaghetti Western movies by Sergio Leone. Highly recommended.

From the best representation of Tolkien's Middle-earth to a sh*tty Netflix production for the ''modern audience''.

Still the best MK gameplay. MK9 has the best roster ever but MKX has better gameplay with all 3 variations working perfectly for each character. Don't even pay $1 for MK1. That game is rubbish. Just buy this one, WB might remove it from Steam like they did with MK9 (Komplete edition).

This game is a masterpiece now. My 3rd favorite game after RDR2 and BG3.

MKX is still available for purchase on Steam if you're so obsessed with fast paced combat but for everything else this is the best modern MK game and easily far better than the MK1 crap.

MK11 has like 50 times more single player content,

Easily better roster (MK1 doesn't even have OG characters like Kano and Sonya, what a joke...)

Better soundtrack (even has the OG MK theme)

Better character interactions with 3 lines of dialog at the beginning of the match, much funnier exchanges with many references

Easily better story mode,

Easily better character models. WarnerBros forced their puppet Ed Boon to make the game to satisfy the so called ''mOdeRn aUdienCe''. The female models are ugly af in MK1, Tanya doesn't even look like a woman, she looks more like the retired Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldinho... Hanzo and Sub-Zero looks more like tow extra clean-shaven bisexual K-Pop group members in MK1, while in MK11 they're just two chads. Retarded design team even took out Shao Khan's legendary Hammer of Wrath and replaced it with an axe...

And personally I think even the gameplay and combat is better in MK11. You'll see a lot of fanboys praising MK1 combat and saying the combos are better, but that's the biggest lie about that game. If some people say MKX has the best combat in the series, I can't argue but I think MK1's combat is overrated. Gameplay is about a boring loop of coffee break combos. Player1 starts a 40 hits combo which takes 30 secs if player2 doesn't have both meters and stupid kameo to use the combo breaker. Then player2 starts his/her combo and player1 watches it... The Kameo system is a total disaster, I'd rather do my defensive moves and throws with my main fighter any day. MK1 combat is lazily designed. In MK11 you can easily play more defensively using more polished defensive mechanics and manually control your krushing blows for more advanced offensive play, especially in online matches.

So this game is easily better than MK1 in every aspect.

Easily recommended.

90/100.
