I would love to love this game, but there are many issues compared to CS1:
- requires high end hardware to run, my old PC can barely run the game on all lowest settings, atleast its better than at launch when my pc couldnt even get 10+ fps in main menu.
- random crashes without autosaving?? The game keeps crashing sometimes with no crash report or anything, just suddently and then you can lose hours of progress if you forget to save.
-some aspects of the game are buggy and feel like they rushed the development and are way too slow on fixing them.
- NO WORKSHOP??? it is so difficult to get mods for this game, you need to use paradox's own mod website to get modpacks and more, while CS1 has so much more easy way to do that with steam workshop.

All that being said, I look forwards to CO fixing all these issues and improving the performance of the game, on average according to steamcharts CS2 gets about half the players CS1 gets, and main issue there is probably the fact majority cant play the game even if they wanted, due to the issues currently.

Honestly just the most fun god simulator out there.

I really enjoy creative and free games such as Powder Toy etc. where you can do anything with the given game mechanics. This game takes a little take on civilizations and its just so much fun to watch a nation develop for hours, and its very in depth too, all animals and people have traits and many variables, they have cultures that help people develop faster in older nations and so much more!

There are many tools to generate random cool worlds to play in and theres all the tools to create your own world from scratch! I love making worlds with some theme like "frozen world" with only mountains and frozen terrain and see how people survive it.

10/10 would recommend, infinite fun!

Just simply amazing game.
The best experience you can have is with group of friends with proximity chat on, try and survive the horrors of Europas waters in USSR grade ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that breaks apart by itself.
10/10 you can even design your own submarines!
