There is a lot of initial problems with the game: But for me, I've not had a single one. No external, no internal. Nothing weird, everything is pretty smooth. There are some questionable software practices, but I believe, when doing a significant amount of research, you might just notice that the version uploaded to steam, is still pretty old, minus the dlc, which is of it's own interest.

The internal patcher of the game, however seems to do a lot more work, even replacing the game's TASGES DRM, with SolidShield (Which is still TAGES, but under a different name supposedly.) But make note, that the store page is not synched up with the new name. It mentions "TAGES". Does that mean the DRM it's self has changed, or been removed? I think it may have been changed, and definitely comes in waves, and stages.

Having the complete edition my mileage may vary- or be different for it all. The game is fun, it's great. So putting aside all of it's negatives, which are debunked when you do enough research- uplay is silly, but at the same time, the license limit/install is a non-issue, as it seems to have been resolved, as long as the product is activated/launched, or ran through uplay (As well as Steam, if you so desire)

Games fun, very slow, the gameplay is magnificent, its a resource management game, but it is definitely a beauty. I can't really go into detail of reviewing the game so I'll break it down.

It has borderless window mode
It looks pretty, it has underwater stuff (In the DLC)
It runs spectacularly. Everything is nice.
There is a huge learning curve, but the game is rewarding in that way.

I'm planning to dump a lot more time, into the game. At 5.7 hours as of writing, the game has taken quite a bit singleplayer, this does not include an amount that it should- or would multiplayer. :) But it is a great game. For what was paid for. It really is a shame that it's reputation for having uplay, or DRM drives sales away.

Even if the DRM situation is still a present issue, unaware to myself. it still is a fantastic experience to enjoy.

The only thing missing now is Anti-idle, or cookieclicker. God forbid, more idle games consume us upon steam. For those that see others, in the truly marvelous addiction- and poisons as we gleefully get absorbed knowing just how terrible and unhealthy they are for us.

We love it, We love games of this genre, just waiting to devour our souls, and time, our lvoed ones, social things completely ruined. And we dont have to play. The obligation and option th e "Illusion of choice" The game plays on its own.

But, when hard work makes it go faster. The reward- is it really worth it? Who knows, but I've played my share. <3 There are many who simply- do not know the idle-game genre, and now the floodgates have been opened to all. Welcome those new to the genre.

This game, is a piece of memory. A childhood, consumed by puzzle solving, thought provoking death.

Shadowgate is- and is always will be a wonderful game. The original has always been challenging for me, it took me nearly 7 YEARS to beat the original. I had given up many times, but in the end, I persisted, and succeeded. When I first started, I was young, the complex approaches, or even the most simplest thoughts, hadn't occurred. Getting stuck is the part of the game that will destroy you.

Even today the game on Master mode is a challenge, it stresses to the finest detail, that every aspect is important. For a veteran, every solution is the same, perhaps some have been changed. But the problem is different. The answer is the same, but you still need to solve the problem, understand the question.

You may need to backtrack, and play much more cautiously. You may find torches to be limited on supply. The game will continue to challenge you, and make you question things, and answers. They're there, sometimes puzzles have more than one sollution. Which often ends to be a pleasant surprise, and quite gratifying, when you learn of it.

I've only managed to get past the room of mirrors, and into the courtyard on Master Mode.

But the game is .. a good challenge, for a mind, a veteran. The game remains refreshing, and enjoyable just like the original, for the newcomer, it offers multiple difficulties, to help you warm up to the game. The game is unforgiving at times, my only reccomendation is, look at the game's controls. Master hotkeying, and using the controls.

l to look
i for inventory
o for open
u to use
h to hit
g to go
c to close

And so on, this will save a lot of mouse movement, and pains in such developments. F5 is quicksave, etc. You'll find the experience more modern, while maintaining to it's roots.

The music is still wonderful, and amazing, I was worried about the game, concerned that it was ruined, but I caved, and acquired the game, It- is most satisfying, and I don't.. regret it at all.

There's a lot of hate concerning this game. It goes pretty deep, and it can be very depressing, as many people reading, viewing.. or doing anything, may just find the community is just upset. Not quite thinking, everyone has their own perspective- even I. I'm not correct.

But, Dungeon Defenders Eternity, is a gem. It is.. A polished perhaps enhanced version of the original. It is not a port from a mobile game. I've played considerable amount of hours now, and the game just plays wonderfully well. It's rather spectacular too.

It does have initial launch day bugs. July 22, was a big of a mess, with all the screams for 'lack of single player'. But to be fair, there are numerous reasons. The claimed one was monetary- not many people would outright talk about money as a developer- or publisher. Not to your playerbase.

That's a taboo in it's self, but it did cause damage, as you expected. Many people took that to heart, but there is.. another reason. An always-online game. Does have it's faults, and every game that we've ever seen 'always-on' had issues with servers. So far, the servers have been great.

Trendy has been very good with the servers, and perhaps can- and will be doing some expansion to it all. But the growth of the game is dependant on us, the consumer. The game it's self is.. What you would expect. Dungeon Defenders.

There are some 'holiday' and 'seasonal' DLC content missing, here and there. Some of the costumes are still around, but some of that content was incredibly buggy- at least to the point.. That some balanced will still be needed. But for $20 or $6, or whichever your regional equilvalent is. The price is right.

Dungeon Defenders Eternity, is NOT a port. It is clearly designed on PC, for PC. And it functions well, runs smooth, and is very enjoyable. There are some tweaks as of writing, the game needs to grow, and to grow. We need to think constructively. What is fair is, If you're new to the game.. $20 is worth the $100+ worth of DLC+ base game value of the original.

It's a good way to get in the gate, if you like Action RPG's and Tower defense all in one, the game is an addicting mindless onslaught. But, the game is just that. A game, an experience that is worthwhile, and entertaining.

It features who things from the original, it is not just some super-awesome bugfix, it contains a plethora of features that makes it unique and definitive of it's own, it balances things in ways that were broken. Perhaps for the best. The game is still changing, and growing.

But There's a light to be found, if one can look at it, constructively, It is a wholelly enjoyable experience. Playverse may be seen as "Always On" DRM, but so is Steam. There seems to be implications an offline mode is being worked on- for seperate files. Much like the old DD which had it's 'non ranked' and 'ranked' mode. Where the latter provided you with achievements and server side characters- and all that.

The game is very enjoyable, infact I've already sunk quite a bit of time into it, and will be putting even more. It's rekindled a flame of the game I've long since lost, and really. It has problems, but. Constructively voice the problems, find a way to explain it, and attempt a solution.

If you play the game for the first time, this game COULD very well redefine a moment in your life of enjoyment, but perhaps not. The game's grind is much more forgiving, and everything seems just about right. So, if you read these words. Know that It is a good game. It is worth it's price, assets vs price. Maybe bundled into a new image.

Performance wise, it runs smoother, better and absolutely just great. Here's to helping the game grow, and perhaps a different perspective to be adopted when evaluating things. Enjoy the moment. And be a bit more aware of whats going on around you, the answer is much clearer.

One thing I have to say about Torchlight 2. It has held up to my standards for a very long time. I've had over 150 hours of normal solo-gameplay that measures up to quite a bit. The game requires little to run it. But that's hardly the part that makes it what it is.

The game is beautiful for it's community, the numerous amount of mods gives it replayability that seemingly never end.The game ranks as a favorite right there with Skyrim. The game has a rather large potential and growth. With the community still backpacking.

One of the biggest issues however with the game is one of it's drawbacks. It suffers from balance issues during the release days. But I believe it has sense received that attention. With finally the release of the TorchED a few months ago. It's nice to see development growing so rapidly.

For it's price The game is worth the buy. Be it alone, or with friends. It's definitely another Diablo styled game. But if you like numbers, and I know I do. You'll like grinding, planning.. and all that sort of stuff.

It's got an okay story. But, I play for the enjoyment of making builds. Doing the plans, curving with items and all that. It's worth the price if you like Diablo like games. It's artstyle is friendly, but at times maintains the dark and gritty look in certain areas.

Don't let it fool you.

The game is beautiful, colours, graphics, gameplay is astounding. Personally for me, I got over 14 hours in during the first week of play. the game has great continous play, and replayability, much similar to the 'roguelike', that is Dungeons of Dreadmoar. It is enjoyable, although ti could be better, For such a spectacularly low price that it is, it's a steal, and it's worth every second.

Mindlessly fun, in some ways, it's like old rpgs, everythings turn base,d strategy, has a few kinks a d such. But for as cheap as it is, it is worth the buy, for those who think an hour of their time is equal to a dollar. Then why not? I easily lost two hours of time just starting out, and the game feels and reminds me of nethack.

It's a really good game, put 12-13 hours of investment into it, with only 30% of the game in completion, and sitll more room to play.

I'd have to say that as of writing, it's very enjoyable. I definitely think it's worth it's money.
