My only wish is that I could minimize this little treat to the system tray so that I could leave it open all the time. There's nothing to do in this "game" really, other than watching it spin. There are some little actions that can be done with the various objects that find their way to your mountain, but there isn't an objective or task that needs to be completed. Overall, just a cool little program.

I don't usually play platformers. Ever since I fell off the treadmill during the boss fight in Double Dragon when I was 5, I swore to never return. After watching the trailer for Battleblock Theater, I thought I'd give platformers another try.

Battleblock Theater is a platformer for gamers that hate platformers. It offers numerous checkpoints for people like me who hate repeating the whole level because I twitch-jumped to death on accident 20 minutes into the level. There's no "lives" that end the game on you because your not as coordinated as most platformers require you to be. The levels are quick and easy to traverse, and it can be played in short sessions. There's tons of tradeable/sellable collectibles that you can earn in game that not only alter game play, but offset the cost if you're really good at steam trading.

All in all, it's a great little game with a whole hell of a lot of attitude and humor.

I highly recommend it!
