Pat & Mat is a psychological horror game where we delve deep into the Wretched minds of Pat & Mat.
The game is cleverly disguised as being a normal kids game but if your intelligence is high enough you might notice the glimpses of madness both Pat & Mat show.
This game is not for the light of heart, despite what the game might suggest at first it is actually extremely violent, for example there is a cutscene dedicated entirely to how Mat gleefully cuts down a fence with a chainsaw and then nails the remaining pieces up on a dead tree.
Other scenes suggest that the game doesn't even take place on earth but probably on another plane of existence or demonic dimension, this is evidenced by the fact that both Pat & Mat showcase extreme strength despite their unathletic appearance, at one point Pat litteraly flips a car with no tools but a bycicle and unending rage.
The plane of torment that they find themselves in is clearly one of despair and misery, Pat & Mat try to escape this realm several times in their car but every time they drive onto the road the cars tyre breaks, this is most likely what drove them into this downward spiral of madness in the first place.
They also try to escape in a mental way by dressing up as others and acting like them, perhaps these other people were friends or family on earth who did not follow them to whatever place they inhabit.
The game reaches its darkest point when Pat tries to commit suicide in a final attempt of escaping the unending torment but to no avail, as such Pat & Mat has to spend the rest of eternity building Minigolf courses for the enjoyment of others.

Overall this game is the dark souls of Pat & Mat games 1/1
