This is probably the best Halo I've played since Reach. They have returned to it's roots and the gameplay and gunplay is the best I've felt in a long time. The guns are all balanced for both casual and competitive play, the visual style is unique yet familiar at the same time, and the campaign SO FAR is looking good.

HOWEVER, at the game's current state, the microtransactions and customization is ATROCIOUS to a point where I'd dare to say that it'll kill this game if 343 doesn't remedy it soon. IF you're going to play this game's multiplayer, DO NOT spend your money on it's items or pass as this kind of thing SHOULD NOT BE ENCOURAGED.

OTHER THAN THAT, this is a stellar game with exciting and intuitive gameplay that I feel is restoring Halo's legacy.

Even though major content updates are very scarce for this game at the moment, and currently undergoing a bot problem, you'll still have a blast playing this game. The gameplay is intuitive and it'soutright silly nature are what makes this game stand out among other FPS games. Even if you get bored of the Casual or Comp modes, Mann vs. Machine and custom server modes like Freak Fortress shake things up a bit and are great fun. TF2 gave me my first look at PC gaming and it's perfect for it in all the good and bad ways. So yes, I absolutely recommend trying this game at least for the goofy experience and memories.
