One of the GREATEST PIECES OF GAMING I have had the pleasure of playing. Despite beating this game’s story twice (once on Xbox both endings by save file and on steam) my ability to Hyper Fixate on the game hasn’t diminished.

The story is a gorgeous piece of writing that’s not super on the nose it’s guessable but not too obscure (heh) that it’s impossible to follow. The theme of dealing with grief of a lost son, done in a compelling manner where everything you play with has an attachment.

The world is a gorgeous surreal fantasy that’s believable, the world is gorgeously crafted with each region (dungeons or whatever they’re called) are so unique non follow a similar flow, the lighting and enemies around don’t feel random they feel purposefully placed by Clea or the Paintress.

Bosses are tough yet not impossible, their attacks are telegraphed perfectly making it easy to parry or dodge. Their music is soul moving, even mimes have a sound track that’s just worth a little boogie.

Anyone saying the parrying is too hard is genuinely just a skill issue. Sure I’m playing on the easiest difficulty (my mental sanity from other games I play is at a low bar) to save what little sanity I have.

The game so far is a bland lifeless mess of a game. splitgate 1 had more content in beta than this cash grab of a game. 5 founders packs and a starter pack before the full game is out pure scum move, a battle pass payed guess what you cant progress cause challenges don't track; in splitgate 1 the BP for beta was free if i remember correctly. there's only 2 modes to play 4v4 splitball which is just CTF just worse and 8v8v8 which would be fun if it wasn't the only thing to play, the other 3 modes are locked behind a 50k xp wall so you'll be bored out of your mind before you can play them. the beta BP also includes skins that look like they're ripped out of warframe whether they're collating or not is unknown, the announcer packs no punch anymore, the one button portal system can f*ck you over if you're not careful. the maps are beyond meh they look generic which if you put those maps side by side to a stickfigure the stick figure would stand out more. theres no prestige camos either which im sure split gate 1 had by beta. hopefully they'll fix an XP bug faster than the end of the BP. Maybe once this game adds all the modes and scraps the featured section, meaning they let US the player pick what we play not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ featured tab or a quick play randomisation and re-add the loot crates that are only obtainable via challenges as to give F2P people something to get that isnt filler content

dont bother buying DBD at all. The devs are a bunch of morons with a combined brain power of 000.000000001, they're incapable of adding a new update or patch without breaking something new and completely unrelated somehow. the killers are either extremely cheesy, boring or downright bland; playing survivor is no better killers like clown & doc spam the living hell out of their ability. if you were thinking about just playing ur favourite movie characters think again cause 99% are weak as for no reason *cough cough* tier 1 Myers, yes same myers who can stab through doors with a kitchen knife can't stab through a wooden locker... talk about dishonour, springtrap his ability is almost meaningless as no surv is stupid enough to use it for travel. Do you like Freddy Kreuger? well the devs said ♥♥♥♥ you cause he's the weakest of all. The perks are either really good or insanely ♥♥♥♥ there's no in between and if you don't wanna use a slow down build well the survs will run through gens like its the ABCs with their meta build(s), did you think hex perks were good? well you'd be wrong cause the devs fail to put totems in good spots so 9/10 matches it'll be gone in seconds. the maps are either unfun or can be made unfun once again no in between, you like silent hill and wanna play midwitch? well the devs said ♥♥♥♥ you and gave you a 20% chance with map offerings but other than that you'll see it once a blue moon and people hate you for bringing it same with RPD.

how to have fun in DBD as killer: A. dont try and mess about, B. tunnel suvivors so you can get a 4K or C. use meta/slow down builds
how to have fun as surv: A. use meta, B. loop the killer, C. abuse the killer, D. be an ass to the killer
