In all honesty, the game is a buggy, chaotic mess and its still the most fun I've had with a newly released game in a long while. Arrowhead and the team has truly created one of the best cooperative games I've played. All the best to them moving forward.

*Update as of 06/05/24 - Sony was walked back mandatory PSN account linking. I'm changing my review to recommended till further notice.*

However, so long as Sony mandates mandatory PSN account linking, I cannot leave a good review for the game. There are so many ways to encourage players to sign up for PSN, and they've chosen the worst way to do so, by mandating a requirement that would exclude players from countries without PSN services to either lose access to a game they paid money for or to use a VPN which is against TOS and risks your account being banned.

The turntables have turned Sony. You were the good guys for the past decade against Microsoft. Be Better.
