At first I thought this game was going to define the next gen experience in terms of immersion and overall story telling and graphics. I had alot of fun at the beginning of the game but the more you play the weaker the illusion becomes and you start to notice that, even with bugs and glitches aside, the core of the game is just glued together to keep a good impression, but not a lasting one.

Everything becomes shallower, guns are just the same 5 ones with different stats, music (athought pretty good) will become repetitive, "gigs" are just glorified fetch quests that you'll find millions of them, character customization is reaally lacking, and after 100h of gameplay i barely felt like any decision I took made an impact on the story or the world, and the AI is straight up braindead...

The game did alot of good stuff tho, the map and the vibe of the game is on point, graphics are really good looking and quite unique, providing you have the gear to handle it because if you have anything below a RTX 2060, it will just look like garbage with 15 fps.

CDPR promised free dlc and that they will keep updating and patching the game, I personally lost trust and nothing can be done rather than waiting and seeing how they will manage to fix this mess, even tho I really doubt it since bugs can be fixed, but not mechanics and core gameplay elements.

Wouldn't recommend for now, keep your money and wait for some patches and possibly a discount.

I've had my suspicions when they first revealed the game that it doesn't belong to the series, and it was just and rpg game set in Ancient Greece with the AC title on it. I still picked the game and found out that I was wrong..

The game is a true beauty, the environment is outstanding like any game released by Ubi, it feels a bit repetitive and grindy sometimes but I find it very immersive which really kept me playing the game.

Characters are amazing and I find that Kassandra is a magnificent protagonist (didn't play as Alexios yet), and the core story is really enjoyable. However, you have some insane powers that break the AC universe and you're not an assassin but a demi-god.

So, if you're an AC fan with alot of time to spend, I recommend this game, if you want something like a classic AC game, then this game isn't really for you as it shift entirely from the core mechanics of the franchise.
