Residual current breakers are not main fuses. Single phase breakers should not be protected by 3 phase residual current breakers if possible in according to our NEN1010:2015. Also the RCD test button can not be pushed. Journeyman uses uninsulated screwdriver. Breakers are not locked out and tagged out in the first mission which is an OSHA violation. Switches are installed upside down and they don't work when wired in reverse polarity. Also new switching material still uses screws instead of spring clamps anno 2024. Switchplate covers are installed with screws but the switch itself magically anchors itself to the wall. Also no water level was used to install said switch.

Devs pls fix it's literally unplayable right now.

2/10 realism. 8/10 gameplay, still would recommend.

This is one expensive joke.

First it gets my stats wrong, I did not survive for 3 hours, kill a player and I certainly did not kill 44 infected.
I killed a hen.
Then an infected using the combat system which is a joke.
Then I run into a horde but I managed to have them stare at my butt for around 10 minutes while they were grunting in my ears, but they did get me eventually.

I respawned, it became dark and I lost my vision. Also the brightness slider is a joke.
It became rapidly boring from a great developer.
It's like the creators of PUBG wanted a zombie game, implemented zombies, survival mechanics and drinking water and called it a day. Also that's 40 bucks please.

The tutorial is a joke too.

7-8 years have passed since Fallout 3, my expectations were high for a new Fallout the whole time.

Bethesda delivered.

Not going to spoil the story, therefore this short mashup;
Altered timeline after WW2, the world stuck in 50's technology and styling. World started relying on atomic energy for everything after the scarce reserves of oil ran out. The high price of crude oil caused the US to annex countries for resources. Vault-tec started building "vaults" for people to hide in in case of the inevitable atomic war. In 2077 the atomic bombs fell and within hours the world as we know ended.

-Pro's:

Graphics look good with good lighting, details and models. Wish i could tweak the game to have less bushes since those are FPS impactors.

Great sound, guns actually echo now. Waiting to hear more soundtracks, i hope to hear some of fallout 1 for nostalgia.

Imrpoved gun handling, combat and inventory management of containers. Enemies and fights feel more dynamic. It was way more intense to sneak yourself through a ghould filled building.

Cooking is present and crafting is a huge element in the game. However; weapons do not have "health" as in previous Fallouts but are always 100% condition except for power armor.

more to come

-con's:
Cap the game ot 60fps as the gmae physics are tied to your framerate. Go above 120 and everything goes nuts. A very VERY lazy flaw in the game engine that was noticed in skyrim and fallout 3 and they had 7 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years to work on it and they didn't. Throw your 144hz monitor in the thrasbin, 30fps master race.

Dialogue is divided into 4 options, usually yes, no, info or thanks, a bit narrow for what bethesda used to offer. As far i have seen 1 speech option based on charisma and or bribery.

Dogs have cushions under their paws, however the one in fallout 4 seems to be wearing work boots and weighs 60 kilos. When he walks over concrete it sounds way off, like a heavy man stomping instead of the cushion and nail ticking sound you normally get when a dog walks over hard surfaces.

Lacks the survival mode that was present on New Vegas which had ammo weight, the requirement do hydrate and feed yourself.

Reloading in VATS takes forever as usual

3 Hours into the game (30 minutes for someody who doesn't look under each stone) and i already have the power armor. Went way too qucik.

Fell through the ground, spawned 10 feet in the air after that and died. This is a bethesda first.

more to come

TL:DR; amazing deep story about atomic bombs n stuff.

The game runs very smooth without on an I7 and GTX 660 without crashes, expect stuttering if using old drivers when present in the vault, not in the outside world.

9/10, becomes 10/10 if Bethesda considers reading reviews and adress the cons.

Update: The survival update destroyed the whole game along with paid content such as wasteland workshop

The devs never fix any game breaking bugs, full on hackers don't get banned but people being frozen in place and given money by hackers are banned. Only care for your money, by buying shark cards.

Not worth the price. Almost 5 years old and on summer sale still €30. Activision is the most greedy publisher that has ever lived. You can get Skyrim legendary edition for 5 bucks or so.
