it is an amazing game - back in 2015 I posted that.

After playing for awhile and after the big rank reset the game started falling with the wild west update and constent stupid ♥♥♥♥ the game was slowly killing itself and is still today. Valve focuses way too much on dota 2 and kind of thinks of CS as a secondary not really a worthwhile game. Don't get me wrong the game is fun to play and the competitive scence is strong as always but some pros see the game dying and a lot of new players can't find a footing into this game. New players fall off because constant smurf ruin it for them.

All in all I still enjoy the game but I have started to leave it.

TL;DR: the game is slowly dying, great but dying.
