♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I played the witcher 3 first and was curious about the background info to the story so I decided to pick up this game. Needless to say I hated the transition. After getting used to the wonkiness of this version I finally was able to imerse myself, and this game does an excellent job of just that. The story itself is phenomenal and the characters feel real. The whole "choose your own path" aspect to this game is a great bonus too. I can't wait to bring my save from this into the 2nd witcher and sink my teeth into that one!! And then the 3rd again! Thank you project red for adapting the novel in such a unique, immersive and rewarding way.

(The sexual portraits were pretty dope too)

Redunant and boring gameplay after a while
Cant free jump/ go anywhere besides the path
Poor voice acting in my opinion, Delilah or whatever was just annoying
A very unsatisfying ending in all regards

So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, even after 9 years just keeps getting better. One of the best games of all time for sure. Also its okay if you move ankh charms and cellphones cuz that ♥♥♥♥ is dummy long to get. So yeah good great amazing game with compelling, unique gameplay that shows me something new every time i take a stab at it.:)

biggest gripe with the game is how inconsistent the drop rates and loot can be, and how you can almost be running through the game so quick you have hardly any time to relish in the OPness you can experience. That's why I like spending as much time in prehardmode preparing for hardmode, because you actually get to relish in the feeling of being maxed out before going to HM. also fishing is very tedious and if you realize you want the cellphone too late in the game, there physically aren't enough days to get all of the pieces before you fight the moonlord anyways , unless you just AFk days like I did first time getting it legitly. Also, once corruption or hallow infects a part of the map, its much harder to catch fish specific to the surface, underground or caverns in those parts since the fishing pool is overwhelmed with like 10 or more different types of fish. The nazar is too hard to get sometimes, I literally setup an afk farm with the turtle armor in the small world with lava traps, and left it on all night. I got up in the morning to see the reaps of my tears, to find a kc of 330 something, 20 tally counters and 0 nazar. To my surprise, literally the next cursed skull drops a nazar. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ finally. Stuff like that in the game makes me so superstitious of RNGeesus.

The problem with the biomes is that it effects the caverns in a way that makes nymphs virtually not there and regular ass mimics hard as ♥♥♥♥ to find. But in the end the payoff from getting all of these items is such a good feeling, very rewarding.

Tl;dr -- It is JUST 2D Minecraft guys

Even when I think that I've had enough of this game, two weeks later comes by and I put forth another 15 hours. Damn.

You could say it's a good game.

9.7/10 - Ending was a bit drawn-out, but hardly mattered to me

For someone who owned the first version and was planning on getting the dlc, this was a great buy.

Other than that, the new layout and graphic upgrade made the playthrough familiar, but very different. Having played through the game multiple times, I've memorized all the enemies. But here I treaded more carefully because there were enemies hiding behind corners and safe areas that weren't there before.

Also, the lighting system they said they were going to implicate before original DS2 came out but never did was KINDA expressed a bit here, making it practical to use a torch in some locations.

The thing that I hate though is how sparse the pvp is in this game. I'm assuming its because the community is split on the pc.

Overall pretty damn good 8.7/10

Honestly, I feel like the enemy placement and overall flow and difficulty is better in the non SotFS version is superior to this one.

Very fun game with a difficult learning curve.
It's all about the gameplay; Dark Souls has a unique gameplay which is challenging yet fair. If you get this game you will be rewarded with hours and hours of enjoyment.
