The storytelling is, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. It can feel a bit slow and silly at the start, but once you're hooked it's all worth it.
So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing I, love this

I often find myself seing these types of games, thinking they look incredably fun, but then not having as much fun as it looked like when I actually play it.
For Neon White it was the opposite, I'm having such a blast playing the game.
It feels incredably fun, its not too demoralizingly harsh, and the whole weapon discard mechanic is a really cool idea!
Often trying to get a good time in these games can feel like a chore, but this game succeeds in making that progress actually feel fun and worthwhile!
If you're a fan of these types of games that let you be stylishly quick, then I HIGHLY recommend Neon White.

TLDR: Waste of money, overhyped.

I had a hard time keeping awake with the story.
It seemed to go nowhere throughout most of my gametime, it's hard to know what they were aiming for in this game.
Story isn't all in a game though, it can be saved by a gameplay focus, but sadly that might be even worse.
I thought there might be fun combat or exploration, but i hadnt really seen any of that in my gametime.
Maybe the books were good? Either way this game isn't even worth trying.
