A lot of fun, and a lot friendlier to casual players than Mordhau was.

great art design, and an intriguing evolution of the darkest dungeon formula. But it falls short in almost every place.

Mechanics are over-complicated and often unintuitive.
Runs are too long, and very repetitive.
Animations, while very cool - very quickly grate on you. A fast mode is desperately needed.
Difficulty is very frustrating, and makes party experimentation a pain.
Candle progress is too slow.

Short, fun, atmospheric - well worth the the experience.

Dragon's dogma 2 was clearly rushed out the door, and is an incomplete game.

There are serious pacing issues, simple QOL that is not implemented, and a significant 'content' issue. The world feels huge, and explorable - but exploration rarely uncovers any unique experiences.

That being said, it's still a fun game. It's clear the team had a lot of great ideas for this game, but they didn't get time to get them in place (the story really suffers from this, though ultimately the ending was good).

A great little horror game - fun to play solo or with someone else on the couch with you.

Really cool atmoshpheric twin stick horror shooter. Definitely worth picking up.

It has one core flaw, though - which is how the "Roguelike" elements are implemented.

Dying doesn't make you restart, but instead makes you continue playing from the current level but without most of your upgrades. On early levels, this is fine - but on later levels there is no point in continuing like this, as you lose too much.

The game should either restart all the way from the beginning when you die, or make it so you can recover more (or all) of your upgrades when you respawn.

A super promising VR game reminiscent of the Metal Gear and early play station stealth shooter titles.

The shooting feels great, the magnetic gloves work PERFECTLY, among some of the best in recent memory.

It's, fun, funny, has a great style, and has a lot of heart (pun intended).

The few bugs that there were on release are quickly being patched, and it seems like the devs really care about supporting this game and listening to feedback from the community.

I'm excited to keep playing, and to see how the story ends once early access is complete!

ultros is exceedingly unique and a delight to learn. but has some issues with pacing as the later parts tend to drag on. still absolutely worth checking out
