Return to form for DICE which hasnt produced a game worth playing since BF1

ANOTHER VICTORY FOR MANAGED DEMOCRACY!

WE DIVE TOGETHER OR NOT AT ALL

Playing since 2014, the early game is fun and profitable/enjoyable but once you make any real progress the game becomes a massive grind, with tech trees taking dozens or hundreds of hours to unlock.

CS:GO has the potential to be good but its full of people who throw games, smurf accounts that will decimate you without any semblance of actual matchmaking or fairness, as well as a lot of personally terrible mechanics (Instant scoping with a 1-shot sniper, switching weapons is faster than a bolt pull, etc. I just don't like it, it's only fun with friends and even then that's limited. Most games will be carried by a single person on each team. Honestly don't buy it in order to play comp, there's nothing better about it.

Great game, genuinely love it, lots of great memories

Frankly, it's a fun game. You get out of it what you put into it, it isn't perfect but if you take the time to learn it and you enjoy strategy games then give it a shot. It's not worth playing without the DLC Expansions, get them on sale or maybe try the subscription model, its a new thing they are trying for new players who don't want to pay full price up front.
