Darkwood is a masterclass in tense, stressful survival horror. It is an experience that will stay with you for a long time, and it is beyond revisiting after you complete the game. This being the developer's first game, I can say with complete confidence that it is the best example of starting off incredibly strong. I recommend not looking anything up about this game if you're playing it for the first time. Experience the forest for yourself, you will not regret it.
