Black Myth Wukong is a good game at it's core. Fluid and enjoyable combat with unique encounters make for a fantastic adventure from beginning to end.

Fair warning, a lot of the story beats and nuance will be lost on someone who has no knowledge on Chinese Mythology or the Journey to the West Novel (Me). That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the story, just that I has no idea why certain things occurred or why some characters were important.

At the end of all the controversy and updates, the game is fun. I would say my money was well spent picking up this gem. Nothing beats the smell of napalm and burnt bugs in the morning.

For 6 bucks, it's a fun experience with friends.

More of what you love in Elden Ring: hard bosses, cinematic fights, and confusing story telling. The bosses aren't too hard (except Finger Lady's Laser attack and Consort's Double slash, those are borderline undodgeable), just skill diff.

Also please fix Consort's nuke attack fps issue

Just the most satisfying strategy game you can play. High hopes for Civ VII

Might change my review later when I reach the end of the game when I finally convince myself to come back.

This is the most lukewarm game I have ever played. The graphics are beautiful and the setting is awesome. Combat is quite simple, but fun. Story is uninteresting and the amount of box squeezes they make you do in a single section is actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy. This just feels like the wannabe that will never match up to the original.
