Awesome in solo! Thought the solo mode would be tacked on and I'd be forced to only be able to play with my mates. Not so! The missions are well-balanced and Bosco, your little AI robot buddy, is incredibly useful in combat and in mining.

The rest of the game is beyond reproach (you can play previous seasons content, btw - no missing out because you got into the game late) as detailed in other reviews, thought I'd just give an extra shout out for the solo gameplay.

There's this thing called Civilization V. It's pretty swell. Then there's this thing called Civilization V: Brave New World. It's even more swell. I would tell you more but its 3am and I accidentally 19 hours of it.
