In a nutshell:
It's not as enjoyable as Stronghold HD or Stronghold Crusader(, which are still good games to pick up these days).
However it's much more interesting and fun to play then the last few Strongholds.

It's biggest change is probably the asian setting and the Warlord system.
Although both things lack depth in most areas, especially the Warlords system feels really simple. It would have been nice if they made them more complex and gave them a personality instead of just the animal name. They are just sitting ducks waiting to deliver you some ressources or to get captured by a different faction. Although if you spend enough diplomacy point they can also have some military value, but it's so absurd that you have to spend so many ressources for that, because they seemingly have no interest in self defense at all.

Considering the asian setting. It looks nice, but thats all, because the campaign is (considering actual story telling) an absolute joke. Why do you choose the asian setting when you don't want to tell the player anything about it. How are we supposed to get immersed in it?

All in all for me personally this Stronghold is a step up compared to its predecessor, but that isn't really hard and they should have done much more with the Warlord system and the asian setting

And for those who never played Stronghold before and who are interested in this game, you will probably have a lot of fun with Warlords, but of course you will have to learn a lot as this game can feel pretty overwhelming.

Resident Evil Revelations
════════════════════════════════════════════
This game consists of a story mode (Solo) and a raid mode (Solo/Coop).
In short this game is like half of a good meal imo. It's a good experience. However it feels like it could or should have had more content.
Spoiler Warning! (Scroll down for the TL;DR version)

The Story
The story of the game is divided in 12 episodes with different settings where you follow up to 3 different character duos with a review after each episode. The reason behind this is probably to make it easier for the players to follow each storyline. However this feature feels quite unnecessary as the campaign isn't that long. It shouldn't take longer than 7-10 hours, depending on your speed, the difficulty and if you go for achievements.
In general the story of the game isn't that impressive. This is probably due to the game's rushed production, since the developers originally intended a different story. The outcome is a story with a very good setting in terms of horror (At least the ghost ship, the other settings and storylines aren't really necessary and should have been maybe an unlockable bonus campaign), but with a story telling that lacks behind that setting. Fortunately the soundtrack, the action and the occasional jumpscare lift this story up; so depending on your expectations you can have a very enjoyable experience.

Another thing worth mentioning would be that this game features a lot of characters. Through the campaign you follow 3 characters and their partners: Jill(and Parker), Chris(and Jessica) and Keith(and Quint)
Besides these there are a bunch of characters which also play a role in the game like Morgan Landsdale or Raymond and his partner Rachael.
As expected due to the duration of the campaign this leads to a lot of characters being not much developed throughout the game. Even the main characters can seem dull because of this.

When Capcom reworks this game as well at some point in the future, hopefully they redesign the layout of the ship and rewrite and expand some story parts to fix some plotholes f.e. since Raymond is the mole in the FBC, why is he sending Jill and Parker on a dangerous scavenger hunt instead of helping them directly or indirectly to find out what's going on onboard the Queen Zenobia, which he btw. later does which makes his actions in the beginning more than pointless. He also infects a bunch of researchers of the ship and is probably responsible for the death of his partner Rachael, since he left her in the dark and alone. All of this makes him a pretty weird character. He wants to be a good guy, but he does so many questionable things, which is just confusing.
Most of the character in this game have these sort of problems. Why did they end up here, what is there motivation, why are they doing this or in Rachael's case who is she exactly? Capcom bothered enough to make them to characters but they couldn't be bothered to really develop them. Which is a shame and probably the biggest weakness of the campaign.
They should also allow to play the campaign with a friend since you always have a partner in the campaign, however this partner is always controlled by an AI that is close to useless.

The Raid Mode
The biggest selling point of this game is definetely the raid mode. It offers quite the action and has enough levels to keep you entertained for a lot of hours. It has 3 difficulties, a lot of stages and a ton of weapons and customization gears. You can also unlock and play every character of the campaign with each of them having their own specializations. Additionally some paid DLC's have bonus characters. All in all the Raid Mode is extremely good, especially with a friend. The only drawbacks I see to this are the fact that have to play the campaign first before you get access to the raide mode and that the raid mode can be asynchronous in Duos. The latter one being not that bad since this mostly affects the enemies position and how they are displayed on each screen, but it doesn't affect that they still receive the damage as usual even when your partner shoots in a completely different direction.

My hope here would be that a future iteration of this game has even more variety considering the amount of levels, weapons, customization, type of enemies and their boss versions as well as the character being even more specialized to raise the skill ceiling and replayability.

TL;DR: This game offers a lot (especially the Raid Mode) and the only downside is that it doesn't offer more content which it could have if the developers invested more time. This game is also at least 50% off in sales so waiting for a cheaper price will also save you a good amount of theyour money if you're willing to wait.
A new version should also add more content and expand the story.
Also please give us the option to save Rachael in the story, when we're fast enough. It's sad that this character is simply thrown away even though the design team liked her so much that they made her into a character to begin with instead of just a anonymous dead body with a key.

If you want to support the game and devs that created it. Yes definetely buy it. However the development for the game has stopped and they will shut it down completely if not enough players are playing (around 6 daily). As long as enough people are playing it, the servers will stay active.

The skin itself looks very nice and you even have metallic foot sounds, so they watched out for details on this one.
By the way this skin only works on the Poacher (the machine gun/ mine placing dude), so keep that in mind before and (or) after buying it.

R.I.P. Deathgarden. With all its flaws, it was still a game too good to be true.
This game had a great character design and lore, the same counts for the gameplay. It only lacked longevity and I will miss to play as Sawbones or the Poacher.
Maybe this game will get another chance in the future, as unrealisitc as it sounds. All in all I do not regret any second of my time I put into this game. I just wished that this ride would have lasted longer.
