Very solid game overall, while not as scary as subnautica 1, this game is way more polished overall. For one, the story is a huge step up from the previous installment. And the visuals all look amazing, even on the land parts.

Though the game is very solid, it doesnt capture the same terror that the original did. This game also guides you more than subnautica 1, but it doesnt tell you where everything is.

Despite this game being in early access at the time of me writing it, it is already a masterpiece that is a must play for any fans of movement shooters. So much content is packed into each act and encourages repeat playthroughs in order to get all the secrets and P ranks. There is so much tech to learn and an extremely high skill ceiling if you are willing to put in the hours. With workshop on the way there could also be a thriving modding scene with tons of extra content.
