I do not recommend this game. Believe me, I REALLY wanted to love it but I just can't.
Every single lobby lobby I've had thus far has either been infested with blatant cheaters, aggressive players that curb stomp me and/or my team, or both.
How is is that I get back to back matches with an enemy team averaging 15-30 kills average while my team can barely break 10? What also gets me is the ABSURDLY huge skill-gap. I've been playing FPS games all my life, so I consider myself decent, yet I can't even kill an enemy 10 feet away from me without him suddenly turning the tables on me, regardless of the fact I shot first.

Team Jade:
-Please do something about the cheating. I've been killed by FAR too many impossible shots
-Please do something about your matchmaking algorithm. The skill-gap is beyond absurd. Add a server browser or something, allow casual shooter fans to have a casual experience.

I genuinely regret the time I spent playing this god forsaken game.

It started out fine enough. Game was buggy, but there was a fun game under the mess. The gunplay was great, the weapons and gunsmith system were awesome, and the operators were (mostly) good. The map pool was a bit of a hit-or-miss with fun maps like Las Almas and stinkers like Taraq. I was stupidly naive to assume it would've gotten better over time, but lord almighty I was so wrong. Sure, Infinity Ward rolled out updates that fixed issues here and there, but each update somehow managed to break something else in the damn process. For gods sake, my whole game unironically turned pink. How do you ♥♥♥♥ up this badly?! This is just the tip of the iceberg with the bugs and crashes I've experienced with this game. I'll be here all day if I list them out.

Rapid fire round:

  • Horrendous Matchmaking: Did well last match? Get ready to get curb-stomped by TweatySesticles69-420 and his mouth-breathing buddies.
  • Horrific Battlepass grind: You had to treat this game like a full-time job to complete those things or fork over the cash to get the items you already paid for out of fear of losing them forever.
  • ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BlackCell: Overpriced "PREMIUM" Battlepass because Activision wasn't making enough money.
  • Overpriced shop items: Damn bundles cost an average of $24-30 USD.
  • Nostalgia Bait: The game loved preying on your nostalgia of the better COD games with items such as the Classic Ghost pack and the MW2 (2009) menu theme (Yes, I'm ashamed to admit I fell hook line and sinker).
  • Multiplayer cannibalized by Warzone/DMZ: The content updates we got were pathetically small. We got an average of two 6v6 maps per update, and most of them were just damn map remakes or segments carved out from Warzone/DMZ. STOP REMAKING SHIPMENT!
  • Weapon redundancy: The drip-feed of weapons was already bad enough, having to wait for each season to get 2-3 new weapons on average, but they somehow managed to screw that up by adding weapon variants that were nearly identical to their existing counterparts. What was the damn point of listing the M13B and the M13C as separate weapons? The C variant was just a shorter version of the same gun with blackout rounds. You could've just made it a weapon conversion like MW2019.
  • Sweaty Esports hacks: Activision has appealed to these damn players for far too long, practically encouraging these people to play with the cheapest tactics imaginable. constant bunny-hopping, the gorilla movement, the flicking, their obsession with the latest "META'' builds that ruin any semblance of fairness/fun, etc. Not a single game goes by where I don't see a Ranked Play/Esports skin player using said tactics. I don't even play ranked. These players have infested all casual lobbies. You can't even play Hardcore methodically/tactically anymore without some cracked out player jumping the corner and popping you in an instant.
  • God awful cosmetics: What the ♥♥♥♥ have you done to this game, Infinity Ward?! I wasn't expecting this game to be a realistic mil-sim shooter but for god's sake, the game looks like a worse version of Fortnite now. Lobbies are full of ridiculous skins such as Homelander from the Boys, Skeletor from He-Man, a furry cat, trashy rappers such as 21 savage and Nicki Minaj, and Spawn for some reason. It's a chaotic mess of colorful tracers/lasers, over the top confetti death effects, and ridiculous characters that do not belong in Call of Duty. Have some damn standards, IW. Stick to the damn theme of military shooters...
  • Infinity Ward & Children: Look up what they did to Nick Mercs. I won't say much more than that. It's disgusting and morally reprehensible.
  • 1984: They deployed an AI report system that listens to all lobby chats and flags anyone that may have said a naughty gamer word. You're pretty much on thin ice as this thing could flag you for the dumbest reasons.
  • Pay to win: They couldn't resist the urge to give you a paid advantage in DMZ. Several of the bundles in the shop offer stuff like free UAVs on deployment and free self-revives.

TLDR;
Please don't buy this game. If you already own it, uninstall it now. I promise you that it will do you wonders for your mental health. Play better games or do cooler stuff with your time. And for the love of god do NOT buy MW3. They're just trying to lure you in with the same crap. Playing Call of Duty now is like being in an abusive relationship. It's not going to get better.

Rest in Peace, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - First Assault Online (wow, that's a mouthful). And screw you, Nexon.

Early Access Review
Before I start off this review, I wanna give people an idea what this program is. Live2D Wallpaper is a program that allows you to apply live wallpapers to your desktop, very similar to Wallpaper Engine. The main difference with this program is that you have the ability to personalize the wallpaper by adding Live 2D Mascots (identical to the facerig models) that react to your mouse, a background picture/video, effects, filters, widgets, music, etc. You can essentially customize to your heart's content.

As a person who's been using Wallpaper Engine for quite some time, I was quite pleasantly surprised with this program and I've found myself playing around with the program, trying out a variety of combinations. While I don't see this replacing Wallpaper Engine any time soon, I do see it as a great alternative.

One thing to keep in mind is that this program is in its early access stage, so you can expect the program to be a bit barebones. At the moment, there aren't many widgets/filters/effects to mess around with, and the workshop is currently full of anime girl models (this may be a downside for some, or a selling point for others).

As far as cons go, my only real complaint is that Live2D Wallpaper requires steam to be open in order to run, and it can take quite a bit. I'm hoping this can maybe be changed in the near future, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

For $3.99, you can't go wrong with Live2D wallpaper. I look forward to seeing this program expand and include a variety of new features down the road.

Edit: 08/18/2017
It appears that this program is certainly making progress. The workshop is still lacking variety, but now we have the option to use 360 videos for backgrounds, which is quite nice. While this hasn't caused any performance issues on my end, I do worry about lower end PCs.

While I'm at it, I feel I should address some of the noteworthy changes that have been made. This program has gone through a few name changes, with the new current name being Live2DViewerEX (quite the mouthful), and its base price has increased to $4.99. I'm still unsure as to why these two changes happened, but these changes are too minuscule to affect my review. The program is still reasonably affordable, and it has only gotten better with the recent updates.

I would recommend this game for the Zombies experience, especially with the mods, but Jesus Christ. Lower the god forsaken price, Bobby.
This game is 6 years old now, and you want people to pay $59.99 for the base game? And you want them to pay $49.99 for the season pass, THEN you want them to pay $29.99 for Zombies Chronicles? Even on sale, you want people to pay $49.99 for all that in a bundle?
This is a scam.
